Does anyone else collect retro gaming apparel?

Hey everybody!

Just curious if anyone else shares this subcategory of retro gaming passion? I have about 90 items of retro tees, hats, jackets and misc.

Most are Nintendo, but I have some Sega and Atari as well.

Would be awesome to meet someone else that has this hobby!

  • I don't have lots of stuff, but yeah, I'm into it. Wearing a Legend of Zelda hat right now. Got a MegaMan 10 hat in the mail today that I bought from an NA user. Various game related shirts, as well. Mostly Metroid.

What kind of cool Atari swag do you have?
  • I have some gaming clothes, but it's all for wearing, not collecting per se.

various pairs of gloves I imagine?
  • Welcome to the site! The only true retro-game clothing item I have is a Zelda jacket from the late 80's or around there.

    Lol no. No gloves.
  • Have some collectible clothing from Nintendo events and contests. Also some exclusive promo items that were unreleased. Still find the jackets to be some of the most desirable items.
  • Have gaming clothes to ware, not to collect, my favorite being the Zelda Majora's mask hat I have
  • I have a lil bit. My coolest item is pry my old school Pac-man hat.
  • Someone on here had a pretty nifty jacket as their profile pic for a bit. Mr. Mark maybe?

Either way, welcome to the site. I have a few tees myself (Metroid, Zelda, a few Marios) and a NES controller belt buckle and a Pac Man belt buckle, but nothing crazy.
  • Hello! Welcome to NA!
  • I have a pretty killer Atari Marble Madness ringer tee, an original Pacman tee from 1983 or something, 2 unused centipede tees, 2 generic atari tees unused as well......a couple other things...

    Care to share some photos?

  • Oh yeah, apparel is the best. I have a couple fanny packs, unfortunately none of them will fit.
  • Welcome to the site there buddy.
  • I'd wear that jacket. Even if it was a few sizes small.
  • Welcome to NA!

I wish I had more apparel.

LOL. Master Higgins I must say that your pimp daddy NES is something I've never seen before. Did you make it? Do you own it? It's one helluva idea either way.

I always thought the ZZ-Topped out NES was one of the sweetest things, alot better than some of those really tricked out NES consoles.

Once I saw it in person, it was confirmed that it is indeed.

  • I collect clothing and such.

If you're looking to sell, I might snag anything I don't already have. Or if it's my size, might get a double to wear.
  • Who ended up with that epic Wizardry jacket?

I'm in the process of organizing my collection, but have quite a few that I'm looking to sell. What size are you?
  • Size doesn't usually matter. I buy stuff for display purposes mainly, so think exhibits or exhibitions. But! When I do wear stuff, like my Star Fox jacket, I'm usually a large in thenolder stuff. Medium for the newer.

Very interested. Nice to meet another clothing person.
  • I have a Resident Evil Dead Aim tshirt that's seen better days and I gave up trying to save my Illusion of Gaia shirt as they're just those cheap iron-on style images they used back in the 90s and 2000s. I regret giving away my Final Fantasy 7 preorder tshirt but it had seen better days too. Most of my stuff my buddy gets me and is newer.

    Sick!

  • One thing I learned is that there is merchandise out there that didn't get wide release and depended on the stores around you.
