Can you block paypal e-checks

in Help Wanted!
Dealing with the second person on ebay this week that paid with an echeck and just doesn't get why we waited for it to clear before shipping the item. Sorry I have had these bounce before and paypal says do not ship. It is our fault the buyer doesn't know wtf is going on. Anyhow can you refuse or block echeck payments through paypal?

    I dont even accept echecks so I put it in my auction that it is against my payment terms to accept echecks that way if someone is being a jerk about them I can just refund them and tell them off. I get charged like a 3 dollar fee to cash an echech so its not even worth selling an item worth under $10

    ^most of the time when you get a user that pays with an echeck and complains about a long ship time, they don't even realize they're sending an echeck. They just assume that since they linked their bank account up, that it directly debits immediately and there's no float.



    If they're ignorant enough not to know how their own payment function operates, what makes you think they're going to pay attention to the small print? image

    Lol. It's not so much a question of integrity: you simply haven't paid yet! Am I supposed to give you a loan until next week for the shipping costs I need to pay immediately? I don't even give my brother-in-law that kind of loan image
