Ganiman has landed

Hello Nintendo Age!  My account is a few weeks old, but I'm just getting around to checking the forums more frequently and realized I should leave an introduction.  This site looks like a great community with knowledgable people and information.  I will contribute what I can.  A little about me: I have founded very large gaming community websites and have also spent time working at a game studio.  I will collect for any console, but rather than going for a single console, I also focus on game franchises.  For example, I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and so I have quite a bit of Final Fantasy things in my collection. I do look for NES/SNES a lot too because those were the consoles we had at home when I really started to get in to gaming, and those are the consoles I have the most games for.  I'm glad to have joined the site and community here.

  • Welcome to the site. What's your favorite Final Fantasy thing you own? I'm personally just a few of the newer titles away from a totally complete NTSC set of FF games right now, and it's nice to see another fan!

My favorite things are the personal items I've aquired through a relationship I developed with Square Enix that has lasted many years.  I have holiday greeting cards with artwork and signatures that are probably my most prized possesions, as well as some autographed items like a FFXIV Collector's Edition and more recently a signed Stormblood poster.  I do not quite have a complete NTSC set of FF games myself, but I'm very close.  What I am missing are a couple of the Gameboy titles, and maybe another odd non-mainline title or two.  Now that I'm a member here, I'll work on making a better catolog of what I have and what I need and finally finish off the FF series (until the next title comes out anyway).

Aw man that's super cool! I don't really have any sort of relationship with any big names like that, so sadly don't get cool stuff signed or anything. Best of luck with your collecting, and again welcome to the site!
