Need help from some European folks on this one

A year ago, I was hired to do some localization work for ... uh... Rock
Revolution for the Wii. I basically translated the in-game text from
English to Spanish in a week or so. Anyway, I did my job, I was paid,
and waited for the game to come out.

It never did. At least not in the US...

A
friend of mine alerted me to the fact that he found the game in a
private torrent tracker, which made me do a double take... I did a bit
of searching and I found a listing from one of those groups that rip
games and post them on the internet, and it mentioned this about the
game:

Languages:     English, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Español, Norsk, Svenska, Suomi, Japanese

So now I need your help. I need to find out if the game really -was- released in Europe, and if the game contains my work in it or not.

I searched Google and found no info on where to BUY the game, or any news bits about it being released. Hell, Konami of Europe's website doesn't even MENTION the damn game anywhere. All I want is to find out if this was really released somewhere, and if it has me in the credits.

Can anyone please help me? ^^;

  • Could it have had a name change?
  • There was cover art posted on the page where I got the language info from. It could've been made up, but it looked as bad as a lot of Euro box art. image
  • There's a couple listed as BINs on ebay Germany and Ebay Italy. I guess the sellers actually have the item and aren't preordering or something... I have no idea if they have the Spanish language option though.
  • They should, PAL games have a tendency to include multiple languages. I'm also curious because I don't think people in Spain will like the Latin American Spanish I used. image
  • Oh. My. God. D:

Now to find someone that actually BOUGHT the damn game and ask him or her to look for my name. image Thanks!
  • Sorry for the double post, but a friend from my hometown managed to ah, acquire a copy of the thing. His verdict?

    "Dude, this game fucking sucks!"

Also, they did NOT use my translation, which is both a blessing (yay my name isn't attached to that piece of shit) and a curse (there goes the resume)...
