My games have pimples!

Well not all of them. A few in the last lot I bought had small "bubbling" under the gray plastic which looks almost like pimples or small bumps. It seemed to be primarily on the gray areas of the front. Just curious what the hell might cause that as ive never seen it before. It was about 5 games out of 40. All the games were sleeved (with bubbles) and a couple had a musty scent. They do not appear to have been subjected to heat but who knows.

Ill try and take pics when I get a chance.

    It sounds to me like they were exposed to moisture, but it'd be easier to say with some nice pics.

    yeah from the smell thats my guess to but how does it cause plastic to bubble like that?

    I'm not sure. Moisture doesn't necessarily mean water, though. They could have had some kind of chemical (household cleaner?) spilled on them or something.

    I have seen this more than a few times. Mainly carts were exposed to something and everytime I opened the internal battery had blew up. I would guess any carts near would get the same effect.

    Yep I've had 4-5 of these as well and had to toss them, they just look wrong.

    Yeah, I've seen carts with these bubble things and they are very unsightly. It would kind of suck to find a rare game with this kind of damage.
