One of my all-time favorite cereals is coming back!!!
I was so bummed when these were pulled from store shelves, but since company have been in the mood for throwbacks, maybe I'll have a bowl of Oreo Os and wash it down with some Crystal Pepsi...I'm not often excited for a special release of a cereal, but for this one that has since only been available in South Korea, I'm super excited!

I actually hated Oreo O's as a kid, though I bought them many times, because they were Oreo after all. They cut up your mouth too much. They should have been the same shape and consistancy as Reese's Puffs, just Oreo flavored. Never liked the jagged white chunks.
Seems to be like Crystal Pepsi has been removed in favor of Dew-S-A and Pepsi Fire though....

I had this problem with a lot of cereals when I was younger. This, Cap'n Crunch, Cookie Crisps, and the Reeses cereal. My child-brain couldn't quite conquer this conundrum though, and I would just continue to eat them despite the pain, haha! It was a constant battle of not having soggy cereal, but not cutting up my mouth.
I've been hoping with the retro craze that Nintendo cereal would come back out. I guess it isn't going to happen though.
The Ninja Turtles cereal would be cool. Disgusting, but cool.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Turtle cereal. I had plastic turtle bowls as a kid that came from that cereal.
Those bowls were awesome. And that "special" appearance they took on after 1000 cycles in the dishwasher...priceless.

They're in the "budget bag" cereal area. Malt-O-Meal sells it and it's called Cookies & Cream. Malt-O-Meal is part of Post so it tastes exactly the same. Trust me I've been buying those huge bags for awhile now.

Uh huh...they're made by the same people...I mean they're an offshoot of the original main company but they still have the original recipe. I think you're getting fooled by your brain. Brain sees it comes in a "budget bag" thus it'll taste worse then the stuff in the boxes. If you can do a blind tasting...litterally blindfold yourself and have someone give you two bowls, one with the "budget" stuff and one with the box stuff and see if you can tell the difference then using only taste. I bet you won't be able to but who knows.

I'll admit I haven't tried the Malt-O-Meal version since Post bought them in 2015...I just remembered having them after Oreo-Os were originally discontinued and they didn't taste the same to me.
I was hoping this would be Pac-Man cereal. #disappointed
