Are people losing interest in retro games?

over the years I have been collecting, 4 to be exsact, I have seen the prices go down, and game pile up on my local game store shelves. SOTN on ps1 used to be... 40$ I think now it sits at 27$ around here. C64 has gone done from 80 to 30. What is happening. Am I just finding deals, or is the demand going down?

    Local stuff can be a different world if they're not using eBay prices as most do. Maybe everyone in your area interested in certain games already have them, so they just sit on the shelves and go down in price.



    *SOLD* eBay listings are the go-to for today's fair market value. People can list at whatever they want, so you have to check what people are actually paying.

    Nah, probably just your local shop not getting new customers or the right stock for the area

    I have a really hard time beilieving a brick and mortar store is selling SOTN for $27. Not saying you are lying, but that is a hell of a deal unless it is disk only. 



    Demand is only increasing my friend.

    Edit: I guess not. It's not really selling for near $30, let alone $80.
