It's my first day...
It's my first day... where I consider myself a gamer again!!
In an attempt to rid myself of the gaming/collecting bug, about five years ago I sold my entire video game collection that I had been growing since I was a very small child. During the entire transaction in which it was sold, regret was kicking me in the chest with golf cleats, but I did it anyways. No more video games for me. Since I sold my original collection I haven't really bothered with gaming at all.
More recently and out of nowhere though, I've been watching Youtube channels related to gaming and window shopping for video games on Ebay that I will probably never be able to realistically afford (You know you all do it too! ). I used to play games as a kid, on a tiny CRT television, in my bedroom, long into the early hours of the morning... it was so much fun!! The feeling I get when I see these gamers on Youtube play through a game that I played when I was a child, reminds me of how it felt being a kid and playing on my tiny tv in my bedroom. It was a lot of fun.
The bug has most certainly gotten a hold of me again and that's alright with me. It's time to begin the rebuilding of a collection that provided me with some of my favorite childhood memories! I've kicked myself a couple of times now for selling my video game collection. It's not the end of the world though. Now I have the opportunity to hunt down and rediscover all of the video games of my youth and relive the good memories that playing them will inevitably provoke.
Isn't that what matters at the end of the day, that fact that you got to experience those memories and emotions again?
tl;dr - Hey, I'm new. Haven't played/collected games in a while. I'm going to start collecting again. Yay, praise me!!!!!!

You're alright.
Welcome to NA, I see you met Bert. I believe we are both always on at this hour.
Thank you very much for the welcome! Happy to be here!
I'm up at this hour maybe 65% of the time. It's reassuring to know that there are other crazies out there that will be utilizing the forums at odd hours!

My mistake, I don't know what I was thinking. It is really quite embarassing, not sure if I will ever live down the terrible shame that is my burden to bear for the rest of my days due to the happenings that... uh... happened.
I had a question and I was hoping someone might be so kind as to throw an answer my way!
I noticed a thread in the selling subforum in which the OP had started a project where they were starting with a low monetary value item and seeing how high they could get that value up through a series of trades. Is this a normal thread in the selling subforum? Would my thread get blocked if I attempted to start one? If I did decide to post a heavily inspired thread of my own, I can't imagine I would be stepping on anyone's toes. Different trade chains would have different items, meaning no direct competition. The idea seems really neat is all I'm saying.

Trading is pretty common here (I did a three box trade with a member last year) so you are in the clear! The paper clip thing was started by GoldeneyeGamer (super nice guy) when he got a Mario Bros Paper clip. He was trying to do what that guy did and trade up to something awesome. You wouldn't be stepping on his toes, in fact I bet he would give you some pointers if you asked.

Wait. Did you already escort Natalya through the facility?
But wait... you're Sean Connery. So did you save Domino?
