It's been in the 70s here but muggy. It's been storming for a while now. There was a great breeze but as usual it's not on the side of the house that my windows are in.
It was 85 at my house which is usually 10-20 degrees colder than the rest of the bay area (on a mountain between bay and ocean) so I can only imagine it was over 100 in San Jose
It's been a mild late spring in north Texas this year. Enough that I've been feeling the impending doom of a very hot, dry and long summer. As long as the AC holds out we should be fine. I think I'm going to buy a window unit to put in the living room since when it's real hot our AC system will fall behind during the heat of the day. It fell 3 degrees behind with it being 95 today with full sun and my wife doing laundry and baking. The boost from a window unit should help us stay chilly all summer long.
It's bipolar weather per usual here in New England. In NH it was 91F last week. 10 days before that it was 35 and raining. Yesterday was 85 with the highest humidity so far.
Summer is my least favorite season because it's just too hot. Here in MN, we've had a lot of heat earlier this month, but thankfully, it's cooled down somewhat since then. Every day over the next week except tomorrow is forecast to be in the 70s with lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
You know, reading the OP's post again, it makes me realize how silly this warning was. I don't recall there being a notable heatwave after my post. In fact, I'm in the middle of Illinois (about as MidWest as it gets) and in a normal Summer we see several days of 110+ F temp. It's nothing to adjust to or prepare for. After my trip to Las Vegas, some coworkers stayed behind. And when I mentioned this heat wave, they gave me a look like "What are you talking about lol?"
I used to hate the hot weather, but for whatever reason I changed my tune. I think it had to be missing all of last summer and being cooped up all winter.
I'm loving it though, I actually bought a pair of flip-flops and have been enjoying the yardwork.

This weekend is wasn't too hot in TN, but the humidity, OMG. I sweated enough to sour 2 shirts yesterday so i was smelling awful!
On a side note, my pool is nice and comfortable now.
SOAB!!! Darn click bait!! I totally thought this thread was something different. :-)
Scarlett Johannson in a bikini is just a google search away. This is a thread about the weather.
Give me 50-60 all year round.
Right now, it's a bit stormy in southern New Hampshire at the hotel I'm at. I'll take rain/snow over sunny days anytime, anywhere.

Any place out there that's 60°-70° all year 'round with very low living cost?

Are you against learning a second language?

Nope. Already know a couple of languages, but not really fluent in them. Those countries have extreme weathers anyway. hahaha
One more that actually has nice weather wouldn't hurt. lol
Ignore Santa Barbara.
I absolutely hate hot weather. I'd be satisfied with an eternal winter, personally.
me too. Good thing we live in Canada
