Is anyone surprised that Special Reserve Games hasn't sold out of Shadow Warrior 2? With a run of 2,500 it seems odd it didn't move well. I think at $40 its too expensive and I avoided it but I guess I thought there would be a few takers.
I was a bit surprised. I played the game and it was great but I wasn't super excited on it...at least not enough to buy a physical copy. I think it's because they're a bit unknown...so maybe that has something to do with it...lesser known then LRGs at least.
I'm skipping the Vita version of Darius right now. Can't afford it. Hopefully the aftermarket price won't be insane. Since it's still in stock as of right now...I have to hope the price won't be high since it's not selling out. I'll pick it up at some point because shooters are awesome and Vita is my jam. But not now.
I'm actually surprised about the CE Darius for PS4...it's not going for that much more on eBay then what it was sold for on LRGs. I would have thought it would be selling like hotcakes at some insane amount. I'm glad to see that's not the case as that gives me hope the Vita normal version will be cheap!
As of this posting it's still available! So it may still be in stock by the time you're ready to buy it at this rate.

Yep. Looks like they took off that pesky 2 per person limit too.
It's been at 30% for a few hours now; I wonder if it'll even sell out or if they'll just quietly kill the page.

Sadly I can't. I'd have to wait till July 1st when I get paid before I could afford it.
$50 ... no thanks. It's currently on sale for $20 on steam. If it was $25 I think it would have sold out. I'm guessing LRG did not have a choice in the pricing, but I'm sure that high price is why it hasn't sold out. I'm still waiting for Night Trap, Ys, and Wonderboy as others have noted those promise to be great
I was at Too Many Games today, and LRG had a stand there. They had copies of the last ~10 releases there, with copies for sale. Alas, no Furi... but they did have the the Darius for vita.
I'm with everyone else about waiting for Night Trap, Ys, and Wonderboy. Though some of the stuff they said was coming out at their E3 announcement sounded good. Still 21% left of Darius. I doubt it will last a week...but if it did...oh that would be great.

If anyone is interested in Broken Age PS4 I'd sell mine for $35+shipping to you (what I paid). I was just going to get the PS4 version, but then I decided to get the combo pack so I have the extra PS4 copy.
Broken Age has another printing error. My PS4 copy has LR-P34 on the spine of the cover. Although, the cardboard sleeve has the correct LR-P35 number on it.
Nothing on a street date as of yet. They're just now on their final ISO submission to Sony for converting and testing. (Not sure how long this process will take, conversion is usually a few hours to a few days, everything else could take weeks) Which makes me believe that they're past the additional bug fixes and testing that their international partners wanted them to do-- which is good, we'll have all the bugs and stuff patched already on the disc. However, if there's a hickup, the process will have to start over again. (let's hope not!)
After that, they'll get with LRG and get the graphics to the covers approved and printed, then it should be on it's way.
It's close, and they're trying their best to get it out asap.

Might be a minority in this, but I'm not sure what I feel about that cover. Not to be harsh on the artist who done it, but to me it feels like this one was rushed.
The colors are a bit more contrasted with the sharper toned blending, and not as dark (I guess to make it look more like a comic?), the persepective of the windows in the background compared to the stairs is awkward, the window curtains looked to be quickly jabbed on there with a few brush strokes, hairstyle on the girl is too modern compared to the original (I like the early hairstyle look). I guess I can say that at least the auger looks okay, they fixed his hand, but now I kinda miss the old alien-looking had he had in the original. lol
Also, no see-through bra. Which is understandable. hahahaha

thats why they put the slip cover on
Huh. I honestly didn't put the two together, but I guess that makes sense. Although, I'm not a big fan of slip covers. I keep them, but I do not display my games in them when they are on a shelf. But the missprint doesn't really bother me either. It might bother me if I had a full set and kept them lined up with each other, but that won't ever be an issue for me.

No strong opinions one way or another. Is it just me or does the woman's face on the cover look rather gaunt? Nice abs though

Actually taking some time and studying it...yeah the cover art is pretty crappy. Someone needs to brush up on their art skills. I think it's odd LRG would run with such an ugly cover with obvious errors.
If it was on it's own, it's not bad. Again, I hate to be a bit harsh on the artist, but compared to the original... yeah, I would go with the original. I feel while the art isn't all bad, it could have been done a little better. The old one had darker tones, better use of blending of colors, shading is better, detail is there (Carpet/rug/texture, etc.), the anatomy is a bit better... the fact that the original uses real paints instead of digital is very impressive. The detail shows how much time was put into the piece.
This new art again just seems like a rushed version of it, which would make sense if there was some sort of time crunch.
Now I know how difficult it is to get the original print element to use it (Heck, there isn't even a full image of it anymore, just a blown-up thumbnail of a Ebay listing of it), but I still think it could have been done a heck of a lot better with existing assets. Heck, I may print out my own insert cover.
Agh, I feel like a jerk judging the art (I'm an artist myself, and I'll admit my work isn't all that great sometimes), but I have to give credit when it's due. Sorry whoever made that new cover-- no hard feelings.
this Friday... hmmm, I don't know. Looks a bit too frustrating what with the fact that you die in one hit. Anyone play it?
Haven't played it, but it looks to be something up my alley. The one hit kills thing doesn't bother me much, unless it's a very difficult and unfair game.
Night Trap and Wonderboy looks cool too. Man, so much to choose... so little money. hahaha
I saw the Wonder Boy limited edition of twitter. I cannot wait to try and get one of those. The updated sound track was amazing and having the CD will be great.
Bard's Gold looks like the most generic indie game ever. A pixel art, roguelike, fantasy themed platformer with permanent upgrades and light RPG elements. Did the world need another one of those, let alone a physical copy at many times the price?
I'm just curious if anyone has found a good way to store their stickers and game cards from LRG. I really want to store mine in a 3 ring binder, but unfortunately, due to the unusual dimensions of both the stickers and cards, I have not been able to find any 3 ring binder sleeves that could properly hold them. I searched around quite a bit, but the closest I found was a sheet that could hold 9 stickers (which would be perfect), but it was long discontinued. Has anyone found anything? What are you guys doing with yours?

Too many LEs flooding the market

I would argue the LRG release is more collectible, although the indiebox release does include the soundtrack, which is nice, all for $30!
Also probably have to get a CD/DVD/Bluray rom drive some where. lol

easily agree, a 6 hour to complete game doesn't seem worth $25
