I really love all the promo pins/buttons from the NES-Gamecube era. Especially the lenticular buttons. I'm still the World Class Service Lenticular and the Nintendo Power one. There's just something about them that just makes me smile when I see them.
I'm going for a CIB set of all the games that star Wario or have him in the title (imports included). And anything related to him in general. Hes always been my favorite Mario series character.
Currently, I'm trying to collect ever "Squaresoft" game. I put it in quotes because, to me, that company was a different company before they started merging with Enix and Eidos and probably countless other smaller studios by now. If a game has "Squaresoft" or "Square" printed on it, I want it (about 50% complete.) This also means that I'm interested in old Squaresoft merchandise but I don't have any. Plus, it's often way out of my price range.
I'm also interested in pre-Mario Nintendo items. These would be vintages toys or cards. The older/rarer the better. I could actually see myself trading of a lot of my high-end games for some actual super-rare, super-old Nintendo stuff. You can find things from the 60s and 70s, mostly because Nintendo started making it's way into the US and the had an official "Nintendo" logo stamped on the stuff, in English, but I wouldn't mind picking up some of the really, REALLY old items. That's odd for me to say because in game collecting, I exclusively stick to North American stuff so I'm not spread to thin. But, eh, I love history and context. I can't ignore Japan if I want old Nintendo things.
Awesome - thanks! I've got a spreadsheet with everything updated - I'll add to this thread soon. This is perfect.
The other thing this is good for - is occasionally I'll be out and about and see something that I may grab knowing someone has an interest, or even just inform them about it if it's something particularly cool or unique.
Feel free to share any other interests as well as long as they are somewhat in the realm of gaming/anime and related fields. I don't want to get too crazy here (as in, hey I'm interested in antique car parts)
Items I have that I am willing to give away for free + shipping [I'll send pm's later]:
-- NES controller logo winter hat thing (someone mentioned apparel, although this one isn't truly vintage it is new)
-- Horizon Zero Dawn gameinformer poster
-- some of the more common Atlus duplicates I have
-- some pokemon items / cards (not many)
I'm not expecting this to be a only-for-free thing, but just as an example. I also have some things I'll offer to sell.
This is a great post for odds-and-ends trading. I mean, we all can see "FT: NES/SNES/Genesis..." Titles in the FT/FS posts, but it's hard to find people who might want uncommon or rare, but highly-specific, items. This a good way to share who wants what that goes beyond the games themselves.
Primary focus for me has always been anything from Nintendo (I know, that's still pretty broad). I'm particularly enthusiastic for the Panel de Pon / Tetris Attack games (and spin-offs like Pokémon Puzzle Challenge, Pokémon Puzzle League, Planet Puzzle League, etc).
I'm always interested in adding some Japanese exclusive items to my collection, like Asciipad 64 or the Hudson N64 controller. Probably going to get stuff like Family Basic for Famicom and a Famicom Data recorder.
For most gaming stuff, I collect opportunistically. Rarely ever seeking things at full market value. Because I buy most gaming stuff I happen to come across when the price is great, it has led to some non-Nintendo stuff.
I'd like to start decking-out my TurboGrafx 16. For HuCard games, I'll settle for my Turbo EverDrive. I really need some hardware accessories. I don't have a CD add-on, but I might skip that in favor of optical drive emulation hardware that is supposedly being developed. A Turbo Tap and some extra controllers/joysticks would be welcome. Something like a replacement back cover or TurboBooster Plus would also be cool.
My twin brother (CZroe) recently acquired some Neo Geo arcade boards and we're going to build a supergun setup. I'd like to get a decent size RGB monitor before we get any deeper into this.
On our trip to Japan earlier this month, we picked up a Neo Geo Pocket Color and a black-and-white Wonderswan. I guess we need to get flash carts next, but a few cheap games would be cool.
Someone on here was specifically trying to collect all the PS2 RPG's. Does anyone remember who that was or if it is one of you? A long time ago I was trying to do the same thing but I don't care anymore so I'm willing to let a lot of the common / cheap ones go at this point.
I have slowed down considerably on collecting recently.
I have a lot of games to play through and am trying not to buy anything gaming related until christmas after finding and buying most of the stuff I wanted at Too Many Games this past weekend.
The only thing I'm really looking for is to complete my North American loose cart Neo Geo Pocket Color set. I want to write review for each NA game and probably make a pdf of them or something to share... will probably take me a long time though...
Maybe a ps2 game or two and some guide books are really the only thing I can see myself purchasing in the near future...
I love old beer signs. As any of you who follow me on Instragram knows. Preferably Pabst, Old Style, Schmidt, High Life, Special Export and some Olympia pieces.
Also 7up Spot merchandise, Noid merchandise, some fast food premiums, WWF Attitude Era VHS, vintage Waxky Packages
I can't believe there is another 7up Spot collector on here - I'm still fascinated by that, haha. I've actually been through 2 of the big phones because the first one I had was discolored so I replaced it with a nicer looking one.

Actually that probably wasn't me originally but yes it was a goal of mine. PS1 RPGs as well and all the survival horror games for both those systems...two of my favorite genres!
Oh and another thing to add to my list (besides the RPGs and survival horror games...and bullet hells) is Princess Peach stuff. I love grabbing Princess Peach stuff...she's not a huge character like Mario or even Kirby to a degree so it's unusual finding a lot of stuff of her.
Edit:
Actually I added a few more items to my list...because I'm forgetful as all hell and forgot quite a few of these things I collect don't ask.

I find these games interesting, but I didn't realize there were so many of them. If there was more than one game (Yo! Noid) I'd probably be interested in Noid-related gaming memorabilia. Actually, if there was any promo material for it, I might be interested, so you can add that to my list.
So, here's an updated personal list, including what I mentioned above.
- Specifically "Square/Squaresoft" games and branded memorabilia. I.E., before "Square Enix".
- Stuff from the pre-video game manufacturing days of Nintendo. Memorbilia, games, toys and paper material. If it's Ye Olde Nintendo, I'm interested.
- Domino's Noid gaming related stuff. (There probably isn't much.)
- Video Game-related Promo VHS tapes. Must be complete (with case, if it came in one.) System doen't matter, so long as it's for games. Don't expect much $$$ but if I don't have it I'm likely a sure-buyer.
I have a tiny amount of each of the above sitting around so just curious hah!
I've actually been collecting big box PC games latley. You can find them for really cheap and they look awesome IMO. Mainly DOS / Win 95 stuff. I have a couple older laptops that I play them on too lol.
This is a great thread; sometimes I find things while out and about or end up with things that I just can't seem to get rid of, either via selling or for free, and then sadly the garbage man gets them when I end up changing apartments. But it always felt like a shame to be, as I know that there are members who would love some of the things I chucked, or just gave away to other collector friends in a large set of crap (folks who probably then eventually chucked it out if they couldn't get rid of it). Likewise, some of the stuff I am after, I know the similar situation has happened. If we could get things worked out, we could funnel the stuff we don't want into hands that do want it, it's a great idea on paper. I hope it works out in reality too
Here are my interests:
-Funtech Super A'can games / items (for Rebel Star game, I would offer $300+ for it, though I doubt anyone here has it anyways)
-Games and items relating to obscure handheld machines (Gamate, Watara Supervision, Game King, etc. )
-Famicom carts - This is a broad category. I am *not* really interested in official Japanese carts since I have most of them, and definitley not interested in modern Aliexpress crap; however I am interested in:
a. bootleg carts (they can be 1:1 copies, multicarts, etc)
b. unlicensed games
c. prototypes / demos
d. promotionals
e. other obscure Famicom carts
Marketing Stuff - catalogues, letters, adverts, for unlicensed games / game companies, for all systems
Comments
Quick side note: If anyone has Silent Hill Statues/Figures, I'd be very interested in making a purchase. Very very.
I don't. Just thought I'd let you know
Thanks for the info!
Zelda store displays and metal trash cans
Shadow Hearts merchant (really want the Shadow Hearts Covenant standee)
Mega Man stuff (IBs for Gameboy, Game Gear, and SNES games)
Skies of Arcadia stuff
Atlus games I'm missing
Link's Awakening stuff (I will be forever envious of Penguin's LA promo sign)
*Wario

Actually I added a few more items to my list...because I'm forgetful as all hell and forgot quite a few of these things I collect
-Anything Space Jam related (Games or not, though with games at this point it's really just promo type items, I'm set on all the games)
-Marvel Vs. Capcom series (including X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, etc.) themed promos, posters, things like that, especially MvC1
Feel free to PM me if you have any of these types of items.
