How common is a vert seam on a sealed Gameboy Game?

I have a sealed Gameboy game with a verticle H seam.  Most of the ones listed on ebay are horizontal and I thought this was pretty standard.   I found a couple of VGA rated games with vertical seams that are listed for $1k plus, so I'm wondering if its just the title or the rarity of the vert seam.

    I vaguely remember getting some games with that seam, I always liked it as it was way easier to open with that while in a car on a road trip. I'm betting the graded ones are probably the title but I'm sure someone else will have more info.

    I have a Pokemon Red and Yellow with a vertical seam. I don't think it's very common, but not very rare.
