dangevin- We have a Cash Converters here in Asheville, NC also.
Yah that's the other random one, can never remember which state it's in They're the black sheep lol. I'm sure you get some great finds from there, it seems every other day I walk out with a stack of neat stuff. I've been considering starting a CIB genny collection with all the finds I've had come through.
I work in a clothing store called "america today".I am the work there as a storemanager. And i love to skateboard doing that for more than 15 years. And next to that i will be found on ebay...
YES! finally someone here who shares my true passion (dodges rocks). I've been skatin for 10 years,.You got any footy kicking around or anything?
currently working my way up from entry-level at Cash Converters, an upscale pawn with locations in VA, PA and overseas in AUS and the UK. This week I start training in buys, they're putting me on the fast track since I have retail ownership experience, in hopes of awarding a franchise to me in a few months.
Theres tons of Cash Converters around here, but they never have any NES stuff and the guys you sell stuff too always try to rip you off harshly.

I've been skateboarding for about 10 years too. Well, actually... Technically I started skateboarding 10 years ago... but then I wasn't very good and I started to film my friends. I actually film for the local shops in Ottawa now... been doing that for about 5 years now. If you search my name (Will Bowins) on YouTube, some little promo's I've made will come up.

I sell things there...just nothing really valuable. I just get rid of stuff that's unsaleable on eBay, big things and common/worthless things. Things like stupid little handheld games I got as stocking stuffers, my old used George Foreman grill, spare appliances/TV's/monitors and so-forth. But some people who aren't online really do bring in NICe things, DS's, digital cameras, nothing wrong with them. I suspect a percentage of it is stolen or taken from ex'es or etc, and a lot is just desperate people raising drug money. But I'll tell you, founding a business based on those two things is a sound investment, there will always be people looking to make money off of those they hate, and people looking to get their next fix. Sad, but true.
Plus the cash they pay is better than what you'll get at a yard sale for the same crud, and no sitting in the heat for 10 hours on a Saturday haggling with Parpunk

dude thats so awesome. I've always thought about filming, I broke my left ankle a couple of times so i can't really skate like i used to and alot of my buddies are sponsored and go to T.O on the weekends to film, and since I can't huck myself down some of the shit they do, i think it'd be cool to film. I got all the angles worked out in my head, i guess its just putting it onto film thats the tricky part, i have alot of respect for what you guys do. p.s - its kinda funny cuz i was on skatersinc forum today and someone posted a couple vids of Neil Magadzia, and i just saw hes in a couple of your vids.
yeah got a photo for ya... here it is me in my home town
bs sg ( backside smith grind) for the non skaters
well its a shame that i dont skate that much anymore my back is killing me and my enkels are pritty shitty to latly. So i am focusing on my nes collection..

Nice photo Steven, nothin quite like slapping some coping on a shitty ledge to make it skateable Jumpman: That video is too funny lol I used to have tons of footy on my computer but a virus came and screwed up my computer and i lost it all, all i have is this 5 sec vid of me screwing around at the park doing a nollie hardflip off the drop

Yeah, I film, but its not my job. As I said earlier, I just do it for fun. I've been filming all of my buddies for years and years now, and it just so happened that they all made something out of skateboarding and ride for different companies. So it works out for me because I get to film some sick stuff.
I am 23 years old and a graduate from Framingham State college (BA in geography with a concentration Earth Science and minor in middle school education). I am a 7th grade Science teacher in a middle school and I love it. I have 5 years to get my masters and keep my certification but I'm going to wait a bit to get it.
