Back from the frame shop part 5 More Atari

Just picked up this batch from the frame shop.

Wonder if you Nintendo guys can recognize any of the games here?

  • I know that's bubsy in fractured furry tales, and I think that stealth plane is from one of the micropose NES games.

    These are all Atari.
  • I recognize Checkered Flag; none of the others though (unless that's Trevor McFur?)
  • I like the Bubsy art. I didn't realize it was released on Atari. I'm assuming the Jaguar, which I'm not familiar with.
  • In the first pic, what is standing up and on the right? That art looks pretty sweet.

    correct.

You guys got two of them so far.
  • I think it is interesting that they were matted to the image and then have a separate cutout for the signature. I am used to seeing art matted to the signature.

In case you havent noticed I'm experimenting with all sorts of different ideas.

Not sure what I like and what I don't yet.

I think that the Checkered Flag with the cut to match mat turned out well.

I actually hadn't. I figured the ones that didn't have the extra window cut out didn't have a signature. After you said that though, I noticed that the stealth bomber didn't really have a matting.  I agree that the Checkered Flag turned out well.

  • Is the Stealth Fighter game by Micropose? I actually like the art better than the Stealth Nes art. Looks great framed. The Checkered Flag looks great also. I used to dislike that artwork but it looks good framed.
  • The jet is Blue Lightning but that and Checkered Flag are all that popped for me (other then Bubsy of course)
  • Could you tell me if that is a 2600 or 7800 game at least? It looks awesome and I'd love to play it if possible.
  • Dropped off the next batch this morning.

Also some Gremlins prelim material. Not sure how I am going to display these.

  • Awesome, especially the Gremlins stuff.
  • I really like the Gremlins stuff!! That's awesome.
  • I am pretty confident the B-2 and the one beside it are not for any of the console games, unless they were unreleased. So I would guess an 8-bit or ST game for both of those.
  • I can't remember but I can sure tell they are Marc Ericksen and Terry Hoff by looking at them! Both very nice.

The bomber cover is for a radar lock magazine ad.

The other is an unused Atari5200 Vanguard cover.

    Yeah right on both counts.

  • That one on the top right is bad ass.
  • God how I love Crystal Castles.
