I recently saw this item sold

It's 4 Hagane Protype Chip Roms.

I missed the auction and tracked down the buyer



After negotiating I bought the 4 chips

I told the seller to send tracked and today i received the parcel.



A empty box

I don't want to play the blame game,

"I could have insured in full"

that is not the reason of this post. 



Only posting this incase the chips appear somewhere. "small chance that is"



Its just so annoying, after tracking the item down and paying for it, to have it stolen is just such a shame.



Ive bought hundreds of items over the years maybe 1000+.



And  I've had only on 2 occasions items stolen or supposedly delivered. It's not a good feeling.



Anyways I just wanted to post and get threw the grieving process.



Here's to the future

Found them hidden under the foams.

    I guess I'm a bit lost, you received the package without the chips after paying for them? Why are you so positive the seller included them in the box in the first place, and did you use paypal (not gifted) ?

    Omg yes, sent like 4 emails to the seller. 

    Luckily I did not blame him, so I should look to bad at the end of this. Apart from being red faced.

    WOW! Red face to say the least on this one. Not sure how you could mistake the weight of an empty box vs one with eproms in it. Know they aren't crazy heavy but enough weight to realize they are there. Yes I have several of these boxes setup just like this so post comes from experience.

    Geez man they were under the foam and you got all the way to posting a thread before realizing it? I mean.....well I dunno that just seems like the first place you'd check when you opened the box and saw that they weren't sitting on top.

    A couple of months ago I was going grocery shopping. I went down to my car with my grocery bags, unlocked the door, put the car key in my other hand with my bags so I could open the door, tossed the bags inside, and ... my car key evaporated! IT WAS JUST IN MY HAND A SPLIT SECOND AGO! I searched the bags, the seats, the door sill, the back seats, the console, the floor, the ground outside.



    Finally found it wedged in between the seat and the console in a crack I never thought they'd fit into. I guess as I threw my bags, the key went with them and somehow found its way in a one in a million shot into that crevasse.



    Now I have a huge keychain on it.

    Lesson learnt for sure.



    The small box came in a larger Cigar box with top and bottom foam. So as I opened the cigar box I saw the small white box and opened that up. Now that's where I freaked out and just started searching the actual parcel.



    Afterwards the rest is history lol



    Just glad to have found it, seller got back to me lol

    He's a nice guy, that's why I was reluctant to blame him

    Thank god I didn't throw the box away, as I was angry and about to do that but for some reason just picked up the foam

    Did the seller put them under the foam, or was it inspected and someone at the post office hid them on you. Im curious as to who put them under the foam and not mentioned it.

    I have had packages before where the manual has been placed in a cardboard sleeve and taped to the inside of the box, while the cart is bagged and floating in packing material. A note was written and left with the game to say don't throw out the cardboard the manual is behind it.

    Overall it seems pretty reasonable to think that they'd have been packed in the Virgin EPROM box and to panic a bit when seeing that they weren't. In any event, at least they were found before anything was escalated. Hopefully they're all working.

    There are definite benefits to taking video when you open expensive packages. I always do.
