This is different than the normal big box for the game.  This is the FOR DISPLAY ONLY version with no UPC (not a Gamestop-specific display case; a legit Nintendo product).  The box is in good condition with some minor creases in various spots.  I'll ship in a bigger box, not flattened.

    So just for those like me who know nothing about 3DS releases, is this an empty display box, or is there a full CIB copy of the game inside, and the outer box is just a NFR variant?

    Ah, sorry it was unclear.  This is box only--just the display variant, nothing inside.  Thanks for asking.
