I was actually very cautious about this when I heard about but I watched the trailer and it looks like it could actually be good. I'm still a bit cautious but I'm optimistic.
Kind of sucks that they're only releasing what seems to be half of season 1. I hope it doesn't have some sort of weird drop-off point.
Other than that though, I think the trailer is solid. I'm glad they aren't using that weird 3d Animation that I've seen pop up in a bunch of netflix exclusives as of late.
I apologize if it's been pointed out elsewhere, but i believe the red cart that they use in the beginning of the trailer is a PowerPak with a custom label. You can see the black tab that's used to eject the compact flash card when they insert the cart.
I really don't know if I should be excited for this. As a Castlevania fan I SHOULD be excited for this but I'm also concerned it's going to suck, which is highly probable. But hey stranger things have happened.
Yep, it did happen. Also on Netflix. And that show was great. Therefore, I'm sure this will be excellent!!! (not)
Loll *slow clap* Yeah Stranger Things was amazing I can't wait for season 2.
*Plot Twist* Eleven opens a portal to Castlevania and the kids aid Simon Belmont in defeating Dracula.
So basically, the plot of the Worlds of Power YA book:
Nice find, I used to have this book back in gradeschool
Is it me, or did they stick a label over a Power Pak in the trailer? Lol.
I saw that. That was the only thing I rolled my eyes about. I really am curious why they didn't use an original cart.
...Oh, I take that back! Two things made me roll my eyes-- this reproduction cart and the fact that he BLEW ON THE CARTRIDGE!
Yeah, I know we all did that back in the day, and this is certainly a show for a bit of nostolgia, but come on. Let's not perpetuate old bad habits. Your spit is actively corroding those really old electrical leads.
This was everything I thought it would be and more. I'm very pleased. Especially with the added context the story provides, it really elaborates on Castlevania III's initial basic story. I'm excited that season two will be eight episodes long.

Looks dope. Blowing in that repro cart was a nice touch too.
Was that shell from Retro Zone?

This could get me into anime. Well, for a season.

Haha, touche. I meant cartoons, but I get your point.

This is available now! Damn it's good. Not nearly enough episodes though. Such a tease!
Dude ! Go to bed ahole! You've got kids to tend to and twigs to tickle!
Lots of violence.
Would still prefer it was about Simon Belmont with his sexy, tight leather armour, though.
