Is this a color variant?

I have two copies of 1943. The label of the one on the top is clearly a blue color and the one on the bottom has a purpleish color. I don't know if this is a color variant of if the purple one is a little discolored. Pics attached.

    I honestly don't know for sure, I have two copies of 1943 also and they're both purplish colored. The label might just be a reproduction label..... Idk why because it's a pretty common game.

    Mine is blue.



    Capcom did have purple labels, such as Willow, but it was a darker color.

    This difference also occurs with Mickey's Mousecapade. I had both for awhile. I would guess just different batches/printings

    I hadn't even noticed that the seal of quality is different on them. Could be different printings then.

    I love how you noticed the minut color variance but not the blatently different seals.
