Nintendo Mobile Cart Bookcase game room project

hey guys, so I bought and repainted a bookshelf that was sturdy enough to hold my nearly complete nintendo power collection.. I was inspired by the Mario decal on those old mobile tv stands from the 90's.... what do you think??

    hahaha sort of actually... bought from a government liquidation guy... like I said I needed something sturdy and ikea crap wouldn't do... its solid wood and I had to make a custom top because the original had like a rubber trim and the crappy office faux rock countertop... painted it nes gray... had a buddy create the image of Mario based off the original... took it to a decal shop and the rest is history.

    Very cool. At some point I'd love to have bookshelves made to look like the old retail shelves Nintendo had at stores.

    I purposely said custom as someone might look at this one day and say, holy moly, what a rare bookcase!

    Eh... you did not get my joke.

    Someone in the eBay rant thread had someone asking on eBay if a game was a "repo" which they obviously meant repro. The game was a low value game I believe.

    Looks great man. How far back do your Nintendo Power magazines go? I had subscribed to NP when it first came out. Wish I kept all those but did not.
