Anyone been to Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR?

Looking for something to do and its on the list of maybes. It's an arcade/bar. No cover few and all games are 1 or 2 quarters. Got a decent selection of games and some pinball machines.

Anyone been and have an opinion of the place?

    I've always had a good time there. Nice beer selection, and the 4 player pacman game is a recipe for a solid night.

    Ground Kontrol is a great place to go play arcade games. Definitely worth a visit!

    We decided not to go tonight but are planning on going after a concert tomorrow. It's a 2 minute walk from the venue.

    The only down side to Ground Kontrol is how busy it gets at times. Being so close to Roseland, Dante's and Star theater is definitely a plus.

    Went for a bit after the concert. I sucked it up at Galaga and Donkey Kong. Though, I did manage to get myself out of being trapped by fire at one point that was fairly impressive. Played the Star Wars battle pod game and that was cool. Did a round of Mortal Kombat II. And then when my wife and i tried playing Mario Kart it are 2 of her quarters which were the last ones we got out. She was tired by then so we left. It's a neat place, though.



    While in the area, I did go to a pretty cool game store called Video Game Wizards and got a small stack of games.
