    Brain Lord

    Breath of Fire II

    Cybernator

    Demon's Crest

    EVO

    Flintstones TotSM

    Harvest Moon

    Jetsons

    Lost Vikings

    Lost Vikings II

    Lufia

    Lufia II

    Metal Marines

    Skyblazer

    Super Adventure Island II

    Super Bonk

    Super Turrican 2

    Tin Star

    Tiny Toons Buster Busts Loose

    True Lies

    War of the Gems

    Wolfenstein 3D

    X-Men

And of course I love, love, love Brandish and Dragon View, but those aren't for everyone.

I haven't beaten Sparkster, Metal Warriors, Equinox, Lufia, or Shadowrun myself.  I need to knock at least one of those out this year.

How do you get over the camera in Brandish. It just messes with my focus.

  • Dunno, just never had an issue with it
  • Bebe's Kids is kicking my shapely butt tonight!

I guess this one will take 1 or 2 days more to understand and see if it can actually be beaten.

Tomorrow I will handle Wolfenstein 3D as well.

  • Liberty or Death
is done. Much like the real Revolutionary War, it was a long, tough slog. Easy mode was a pain in the butt so the harder modes must be brutal.

The next green Koei game is Nobunaga's Ambition: Lord of Darkness, so I'll start on that in a few days.
  • I'll fully update when I get back tomorrow
  • Wolfenstein 3D is done.

Unlike Doom, the SNES port ain't terrible and too damn slow. I kinda like it.
  • Andre Agassi Tennis, done:

Beat the women's tournament, indoor surface, with Cassie Nova.

I think I'll start working on No Escape soon, BTW.
  • I beat Level 2 in Vortex last night after about 20 tries. I know I've never come close to passing that level before so I am all in on finishing the game. Looks like it has 7 stages so I'll be at it for awhile, and I'm thinking it's probably gonna be the most difficult game I'll complete for this thread to date.
  • Updated. Not really sure if I feel like competing in Spy Hunter, so I may take a shot at another football game tonight. Otherwise I need to get back to Warlock or Seaquest.  Realm is another one that should be an easy green since it gives you passwords.  I also just got Air Cavalry and may try that one for a spin

FUCK THIS GAME! IT IS AWFUL!

Not even I could find enjoyment in this and I love shitty games.

Congrats! Did it get worse after the first couple levels? I didn't mind those so much, but I didn't bother to figure out the haunted house or whatever it was that had multiple routes.

The haunted house was the worst part of it all.

The rest was mediocre, slow and awful bland beat 'em up, with some minor platforming near the end.

    This game sucks.
  • Bea needs 14 points to match my score from last year

Bea I believe is now in the ballpark of 3rd most clears in a year all-time, behind me (2016) and Crabmaster2000 (2012)
  • There is still a good deal of the year to go, so I intend to clear a lot more SNES and NES games till then.
  • Unfortunately this also means Bea has taken the majority of the good games, leaving naught but the dregs for the rest of us.

Huh. Some good games on there still. Ys III! Ok fine I'll not be such a negative nelly!

  • Anyone who wants a challenging, deep, great game, go for Knights of the Round. I still can't beat that mf'er on normal, but I'll keep trying

I reckon that, at least in my point of view, a good deal of those games I have beaten are pretty good.

But my opinion about good games is known to be skewed.

Hey Bea, do you remember if "Micro Mike" has any more levels? I get to a point where the scrolling just stops, there's an enemy in front of me, and then I die. I can't even tell if there's something I'm supposed to do there.

I just felt like playing osme crappy Action 52 today for some reason.

It has 3 levels. By the sound of it, you are at the final boss.

You have  a very limited area of movement there, and you have to hit him 14 times to beat the game.

Congrats on making it that far on that POS of a game.

It's really glitchy, but I like the challenge.

    That's a boss? LOL.

    Yep.

Each of the 3 stages has an end boss.

That game is one of the worst I have ever played. Maybe I will play it again this week and record it.

Then I made it to the first level boss, I guess? I can't even seem to be able to shoot it. This is really bad. If not for knowing that it's supposed to be a boss I would just think that the game is broken and I can't get further.

That is Action 52 for you.

It is completely broken and nigh unplayable. I suffered through a few of it's games last year.

Storm over the Desert was a major bore!

Anyway, I just started on Carrier Aces. I should be trying to improve my Spy Hunter score, but eh, I feel like beating SNES games instead.

I'm done with Spy Hunter after the stupid game soft locked on me. At least I had a pretty good score before it did so.

  • I tried Carrier Aces last year and a few months ago. Color me baffled.
  • Well, most of the green games left are of sports my mind can't compute, so I am trying to clear those I will actually be capable of beating.

I finally gave up trying to beat this one. It's a shame because this could have been a fun little twitch game with some more effort put into it. I like the combination of speed and dodging stuff. As it is, it's too buggy to be playable. The graphics randomly glitch all over the place, and the "boss fight" is impossible when I can't do anything to avoid its projectiles. Sometimes I can shoot away the projectiles and other times I'm helpless. You must have had an amazing amount of patience to get through this.

  • I played some Time Warp last night. I may be enough of a sadist to stick with it to the end
