You all are missing the point. It's not about some magical win condition that will show itself on Day 2. It's about playing the LONG GAME. Less dead town means longer game means more CHANCES for the people with roles to snag a wolf. We may well go into day 2 no better off than day 1. But we'll not have killed a town, plain and simple.
Frankly I only think the analytical long game works as you describe it if we can establish some trust in the team, but the nature of the game is constant suspicion and from what I've seen hysterics and mob mentality can take place early, mid and late into the game. It's really hard to be analytical when you never or hardly trust anyone else. This is why accusations and the threat of lynching works. It applies pressure and gets stories/evidence out in the open to analyze.

It's hard to measure as a statistic because sometimes a Day 1 post from someone pays dividends on Day 3 when the poster slips up. Other times it happens more quickly or not at all. Hard to quantify. But it surely can't hurt to get some sort of game log going rather than what we have right now.

Yes and no. If the town leader is making bad decisions the wolves would let him go. Just because someone is cleared doesn't mean they have a juicy role or that they know what they're doing.

I mean technically it is a lie, but one from a mistaken fact, also just pointing it out so people aren't like oh we've gotten on before on day one we can do it again.
Past results have no bearing on the current round. Nabbing a wolf in day 1 while being virtually completely blind is pure chance. RNG would be as effective as trying to be deductive at this point. You could even put it out of our hands; ie take the next post by dra600n or jmbarnes, find the post number, divide that by x and then subtract y, and use that determine who gets the lynch

also in the last two games at least 1 new person has been a wolf, (gloves and bert new guys, glove was wolf, before that we had 5 new guys and fluffy was a wolf) so looking at hogie, hybrid, or puppywaffles to being a wolf in this game, statically speaking.
bronty and limbofunk are also on radar as in 5 games that each have played neither have been a wolf yet, bronty has been mostly vt whereas limbofunk started as an indy. behemos and stryphos are each at 4 without being a wolf either.
these are just things based on previous games I have noticed so pointing out what I have seen, can any of it be true IDK only true fact I have is we never bagged a wolf day 1. Unless someone shows me otherwise, also going to go back and see if i can find the person who said we have bagged a wolf before.
I said a wolf was nabbed once. I really thought one had been. Could've sworn someone said that. But I didn't look back so I was wrong. Not lying per se, just mistaken.

I recall Vectrex in the Pokemon 1 round, and it was technically day 2 since day 1 had no action from any side
I'm guessing you don't mean the third werewolf that ended ealry since zelda fan was lynched day one and the game ended early
so i'm guessing you mean the 4th werewolf game he basically got voted out cause he wasn't talking nothing based off of results from finds from either day 1 or night 1

Yes and no. If the town leader is making bad decisions the wolves would let him go. Just because someone is cleared doesn't mean they have a juicy role or that they know what they're doing.
Plus anyone with a target on their back makes them a protection candidate. Do the wolves want to risk going for someone if the kill will fail, or will they go after some random player that leves behind no clues to intent and little chance of protection

not necessarily, if the wolves are suggesting who to Lynch and the leader is going with that, they wouldn't kill him.
That said, let's hope the night roles have some good hunches.
