  • Every october we head up north to a small town with just one gamestop and nothing else around and they tend to have some good games for the 4/10.00 sale. At some point i need to sign up for the power rewards, just sucks that they force you to go to a store to do it.
  • Star Fox Adventures is in stock now if anyone missed out.

Now I wished I upgraded to pro membership before this sale lol...
  • As soon as I come back from my holiday in America, this sale comes on.

    What luck haha.
  • Star Fox Adventures is out of stock again sadly.

The pro membership made them $2 each and free shipping, couldn't be beat, hoping at least some more show up cib

What a steal! Who knew Gamestop can be the best, hell even better than some garage sales.

I did order around 50 different games in total so now it is a matter of getting them all. Looks like they are shipping some, and others are still no update.
  • Saved about $64.00 using this and my pro membership.
  • Ended up getting another one. Some of them i think take longer to ship as they split one order into 2 as i think they were searching their stores for them. I need to get that rewards membership this year i'm never near the stores when i have cash on me though.
  • So far received 6 of them today. All of them don't have their manuals and 3 of 6 came with original case. Looks like this will be the common occurrence. Doesn't matter to me, just buying it for the games.
  • Got the first one in today and amazingly not only was it CIB it had no price labels on it so it must have been at the warehouse. The next few days will prove interesting as more get in. I got the repro covers ready to go just in case lol. Went back to check the vita stuff but nothing good, too much to ask that they had uncharted in there.

Edit: Got nearly all of them in today and i'd say over half are CIB.
  • Decided to go for it for some games that I've been looking for for a while. Got 12 games, mostly DS, for $24.00 free shipping. Hoping at least a couple come CIB but if not the price is still incredible
  • Well the final lot arrived, 2 of the 3 gamecube games arrived boxed. None had manuals. All cart titles came loose.
  • Got mine today as well. A single game was CIB. The rest were disk only
  • I've been really lucky that so much has been CIB. Which is good as I'm low on DS/gba cases and dvd cases that hold more than one disc.
  • I received like 7 packages today. The weirdest thing happened though. I ordered one Final Fantasy IX for PS, but they gave me four for some reason. xD All disc only, but I don't blame those as those jewel cases break so easy through shipping.

I got CIB Starfox Adventures as well!!! Manual and mint disc. So happy!

Zelda Windwaker came disc only though, but it is a good price and never played it, so gonna play that tonight!

    Still have 2 more tomorrow.
  • Yeah I was amazed that both my star fox games were complete, I'm hoping the other 2 i bought today will be too. I figure at 2.50 a game i can't complain. Still beats what i'd get at the local stores.
  • Looks like the sale is over as the vintage games including Gamecube were removed from the 4 for $10 deal and are back at original prices (Star Fox at $7.99). Same with Zelda Windwaker it is now at $24.99 when it was $15.99. Still going strong for systems like Wii and 3DS.
  • I ordered like 40 games from this sale, I'd say roughly 18 were CIB. The rest I returned to my local GameStop for a refund (I hate loose discs). Games like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Nintendo Land, and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for PlayStation were all CIB and in the lot. Not bad at all for $2.50/CIB game!

I remembers. Nostalgia to ~2005 when I picked up ~100 NES games from EB Games for roughly $120. I remember the Funco Land days too ~1997 although back then I bought games only 1 at a time strictly for gaming purposes, and wasn't into collecting. Also buying pre-owned games from Blockbuster when they were done renting them out. Good times man.
  • Just a heads up, you don't get shipping/handling back when you return the games. Since I only got a single game CIB out of my 12, I ended up paying $8.50 for that game so I would avoid unless you're content with some/all of the games being loose

I think the trick is to order enough to trigger free shipping that way you dont run into that problem.  Order twice the number of games you really want then return them.

The deal stacks with the coupon code SAVER for free shipping next time FYI.

I ordered a ton of games and about 50% came disc only just to throw my stats out there. The DS games I ordered all came cart only, but I expected that since Gamestop is probably the world's foremost trasher of DS boxes.
  • Tell you what Gamestop is great about shipping, it sure beats amazon, i have a bunch of amiibos that i preordered and they already shipped a day early for the normal 5.99 fee. That said they've only sent one star fox game i just ordered so i'm waiting to see if it's unavailable or what.

Yeah they've been pretty cheap for shipping in the past for me and I actually got Bravely Second a day early from their shipping.  With this current sale, I ordered 12 games at once for $24 with free shipping and they've already loaded 5 different tracking numbers for the 6 games that are marked as shipped.  If they show up in that many different packages I have no idea how they can afford to do ship like this
  • I don't either as i've had them split up orders to single packages which means they must have a good deal with UPS. I know amazon has a deal with USPS.

Good to know. If that's the case, I might hit the roulette wheel again because the first spin sucked.
