So its a lot to take in bit after reading everything this is my theory, and someone chime in if I missed something or any rules prevent it from working.

Someone said the doll was a wolf thing (odd you'd know that immediately) that could be a trap or a clue. What if NED is a wolf and used the doll as a trick to play innocent. The real seer will definitely not come forward now. If he was a wolf and the doll lies about a role then he would use it on himself. It doesn't add up how hard he tried for that cloak...

GEG is dead, Doner wanted revenge. I'll let that sink in.

Also Gloves, where is that info we were promised?

Everyone needs to reevaluate all the old posts with the new info.

Doner was also trying to convince us to kill the talkative players that were discussing lynching people for being quiet, Doner would be a very good quiet wolf unless we started killing people for that reason...

  • Okay Puppy. Ill likely vote for him tomorrow but want to hear what others have to say first. Seer, vanilla, or wolf?

How about the info you have Gloves?

Are you able to tell us anything yet?

We do not know that NED is the ACTUAL Seer.

Pimp has subtly been trying to spread misinformation like this and/or misdirect the town's interest several times already. He'll never answer when it's brought up either. He's either a wolf or simply doesn't read the thread and is really bad at being town.

Either way he's been zero help to us as he just interjects ridiculous posts like the above and doesn't follow up.
  • As for last night, I woke up to see a trident in the ground next to me pinning a piece of paper with a scrawling on it. No author was listed, but the note claims MBC was nowhere to be found last night (paraphrasing so this is not verbatim).

Helpful hint from a townie? Misdirection from the wolves?

I'm happy something mysterious finally happened to me in one if these games
  • Also the trident. Neptunia had one and is dead. So that seems like some sort of clue as well.

Is it worth lynching NESfanatic to find out if Mr History Doll tells the truth or can lie?

If NED is the seer, well he's a dead duck tonight anyways, given the priest is gone. So not a big loss. If NED is Vanilla as per Mr History Doll, not a big loss.

EIther way we get a hard fact about Mr History Doll.

    THoughts?

I think it would be better if we wait till day 4. If NED is the Seer the wolves will surely want him dead, so hes likely to be on tonights menu and we will find out anyways. So lets not give up our chance of lynching a wolf.
  • Man that sucks that we lost our priest.

I agree with puppy waffles that doner made the comment about GEG and then he's the first wolf kill. Why isn't this being more talked about?

@Bronty, so the cloak verbiage is ambiguous about who it protects? Are you able to trigger it or does it happen automatically? Single use?

I got a glad I'm not dead message and that's it for my night ending. Nothing cool like Behemos.

Also, the water thing mentioned in a somewhat earlier post, could that be the villain (same one used in swiftfrosts avatar)??? I'm going off of memory from the show and it's been a loooong time.

    Those are my thoughts.
  • I fail to see why we should lynch nesfanatic claiming a role as a wolf is surely suicide and im not sure he would go for a trade ie. claiming seer just to out the real seer and trade wolf for seer.

Liquidator was the dog made of water that was a water salesman before he turned evil.  Mr. History doll was a doll of Quackerjack's (Who is probably a villain, but I could seem him as an Indy as well).

  • Actually thinking about it, Quackerjack is insane pretty much....Quackerjack could have a role somewhat similar to the GameGenie in...(what was it, the Castlevania game?) where he has to choose from a list of random things he can do during the night. He had his time traveling machine (the spinning top) which could attribute to us losing a game night and to the cloak dropping (time warping around it or whatever, right?), Mr. History is one of his dolls...if that's the case, even if Quackerjack is a wolf, the wolves better be wary of him, because I would not be surprised if he's a lone wolf with his own agenda and independent win condition.

That's what I was saying day 2. It's just not a smart decision as a wolf. And nesfanatic is a smart player. He just thought he was gonna be lynched so he had to reveal.

I understand where you are coming from with this theory, but I don't believe this could be a thing. Using three powers in two nights seems like it would be a VERY overpowered character.

Two powers in two nights--the cloak dropping would be a side effect (in conjunction) of the skipped day.

  • So to recap for me, as some people have asked many questions since I fell asleep last night.

I was the one that mentioned quackerjack for the dolls appearance, his background to aid why I thought so. Toy maker that goes insane cause videogames are created and no kids want to play with his dolls. Also I believe in the comics his wife leaves him and he turns himself into a doll so. So I believe the doll is a wolf action based off of that.

@bronty glad to see you can post, and I think right now trying to lynch Ned is a wasted lynch at for today, just seems like to figure out if the doll is working kill the person it pointed out, that doll maybe a one time use thing, and we may run into another doll later in game, do we keep killing people that dolls target to see if the dolls are telling the truth? As of now Ned is one of the two easiest targets to hit and is interested to see how people react about that.

The other easiest target is Doner, and I was waiting to see who brought him up first today, as I was the one that mentioned him a lot yesterday. So basically the train of thought for Doner is, wolf's want to set him up as they saw he didn't say a lot day 1 and 2 and want to make him look guilty since he was the only one to go after GEG, or Doner is messing with our heads by going after GEG day 1 and now that he's dead can say, hey would I be that stupid to let the wolf's kill the guy I was harassing the day before and get attention sent my way. Most times wolfs don't want that attention especially this early in the game, but would like to hear from him as he may have info to share as well.

So recap of the last two nights. First ended early and a cloak appeared before us, bronty got the cloak and disappeared for night 2.

But night 2 we got a doll showing up pointing out that NED smelled like vanilla.

GEG died and was Neptunia our priest, for those who don't know neptunia, she was part of darkwing's team the justice ducks, funny cause she's a fish. Basically same story as aquaman but she's female and looks like a fish.

Those are some of the facts we have based off of what Dra600n said

But we also got Ned saying he was splashed with water, might be a effect of when Neptunia protects you. Something more to look into.

And we also got behemos said he got a note "As for last night, I woke up to see a trident in the ground next to me pinning a piece of paper with a scrawling on it. No author was listed, but the note claims MBC was nowhere to be found last night (paraphrasing so this is not verbatim)." and then goes on to say this right after, "Also the trident. Neptunia had one and is dead. So that seems like some sort of clue as well."

So I find this more odd. I can't think of any other Darkwing Duck character that would have a trident, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. So my question becomes, if the trident belongs to Neptunia, how did someone get her trident and produce a note, as GEG's role revealed no ability to write a note?

Look, I told you guys I didn't trust him last round and our priest died after he was splashed with what I assume was holy water to save him. At least this time we will learn something. I doubt he us the seer, I think he just really wanted that cloak.

Yeah the wording is not clear re protection.   I don't know if it's single use or multi use.

Is there any more info other than protection? I doubt you're just safe until the end of the game

  • I am most certainly not a wolf, I would never ever bring attention to someone that we were going to target at night. I've never lied in this game and once again don't need to start. I'm 100% town.

I'm camping until tomorrow with no service once I leave the nearby town in 10 minutes until late tomorrow.
  • For whatever it may be worth my message said "you wake up and are thankful your still alive".
  • Yeah I got that message too
  • Im thinking donor is town. He makes a good point and although has never been the most active player, I would suspect he would be more active if he had a night roll, based off the last game when he was a wolf.
  • I'm absolutely against lynching Ned. Terrible logic

The note about MBC interests me. The wolves wouldn't have 3 actions

It's probably stupid.   As was outing himself if he's telling the truth.   What he did made no effing sense if he is who he says he is

If the wolves dont kill NED tonight, and he yet again comes up empty day 4. Then we should suspect hes not town. But right now it would appear he is town.
  • Ok ill open up some. I am a vanilla. The past game when santa made it skip the night no roles could be used, if that happened idk but i would put money. I just stuck my neck out to let the night roles do work. Im sure theyll kill me anyway because they dont wont to risk it but hey at least its another night where more informations is learned from our night roles. Our watcher should watch me as iy will be the best way currently for that role to catch one of them
