As bad as it sounds, it's super easy to imagine how the other guy could justify to himself keeping the money. I hope it works out for you.

But he'd be a dickwad asshole like Goofus if he did that.  He hopefully will be like Gallant and graciously refund the money that doesn't belong to him...even if Gallant's goody-goodyness makes you want to gag yourself with a spoon

You're seriously referencing a comic from Highlights for Children??  (which I only knew by googling, but def remember Highlights)...you, sir, seem like someone I wanted to take to a party

I'm very flattered to hear you say that but I'm probably a bit old (37) to be clubbing and raving and such (if that's how it's still done)!  Not to mention even in my college days (when you're "supposed" to party) I was always the type who usually just read or played games (mostly retro so I don't do the online kind) or looked at baseball cards in my spare time.

But back to our regularly scheduled program, to reference a cartoon this time (Craig from the Tourettes episode of South Park to be more specific): If there was a way I could read all the back issues of Highlights (and Beckett and other vintage baseball card magazines) via cbr or pdf format like they do at RetroMags I'd be so happy

definitely meant more of a low-key game night setting.  that's my club scene!

  • You know in my final night at Blanding 3 (part of Kirman-Blanding dorm complex) before graduating from UK (I was in room 208 all four years believe it or not!)...some fellow dormmates gave me a send off by playing Mario Kart 64 and though I personally didn't care for the program Jackass (this was 2003, before YouTube mind you) they had it anyway
  • He sent $400 difference today, it was a good day
  • Very honorable...congrats!
  • That's a stand up guy there. You lucked out on that one.
