    my goodness, do mk3 and doom in a jewel case reallly go for that?  i knew they were rare (thinking about it ive never seen either in a jewel case), but holy moly!

    Yessir. About ago an incredibly bad looking copy of the Mk3 sold for $350. My copy is in much better condition. Doom has hung at $200 for a while now. Both were real small run variants. But you can do a quick google search and see people talking about the rarity of the Mk3 jewel case all the way back to 04'.
