Oh wait no... what was the last one to sell on ebay? My ebay search skills suck or something...
Over 25K each.
Last public sale was 9800 and about a year ago. Now if you want to hype private sales that only you seem to know about, that's another story.
2nd this.....
No, ebay sold listing over 25K. Two private above 25K. Can't see it now because it is not there. Bryans video game trader had it listed???? 9800 a year ago? What was that a running auction? Do running auctions of all of your non common ebay stuff and you know how low it will go. Dreaming if you think this is worth 10-15K. Jonebone you are always trying to undervalue this anyway. I don't even mention private sales about hardly anything anymore because it would turn the Nintendo world upside down.
And I can confirm a sale from July 2016 of under $8500, NWC #0085. It was also for offer here in May 2016 and she couldn't get enough interest. I talked with her extensively but she chose to take a bit less locally. Apparently none of NA (yourself included) could make her a decent offer? Under $10k should have been peanuts then right?
And just a year ago you had one at $11.5k. Even though one "just sold" for $19k. But if these are $25k why were you so desparate here? Maybe NWC market wasn't as strong as you thought?
So don't tell me it's "dreaming" it's worth $10-$15k when there have been plenty of sales in that range or less. You're just trying to hype your shit based on a lucky eBay sale (congrats Bryan). These things can be volatile because of new impatient buyers but they can never hold a value that high. Same thing happened with Nolans sold theirs for $17.5k which was a huge record then, and then plenty of sales at the $10k range or lower then.
Sure, maybe you want to say it is $25k now but I know it will be much less than that again. I'm less concerned with some recent sale that you want to capitalize on and more concerned with the "real" value of it, where it is going to wind up. Just like the Zelda test cart you had last year at $7500 and claimed you sold at $5 or $6k I think? Now you'd be lucky to get $2-$2.5k for it, though I'm sure you'll still say it is worth $5k because you got lucky there. NWC Gray is too common and hobby is too immature for it to hold value at $20k or above. At those values you want to be a seller (which is what you are doing here), not a buyer.
The bottom line is this. You lower the value of stuff you don't have and hype up the value of stuff you do have. Everyone knows this. It was discussed yesterday evening on Facebook.
I've sold more 10+ rarity items than you have in my lifetime. NA is not the end all for pricing.
And all of these cute little "claims" you say I am making...you think I am making up my pricing of what I sell my stuff for? That's amazing.
I can have anything on ebay for OBO I want. Just like you do. Pot calling kettle black. $7500 Zelda Test cart...it was the only one up and it sold. Don't get me going on your ebay pricing. I don't even have hardly anything up either.
And I was never "desperate" selling anything, those links on NA were from me selling the NWC for someone else. (Another Bryan who sold it to Sara or Bryan eventually, etc).
Last time you even spoke to me you blew up at me because I "sold" some stuff privately for more money in a deal you didn't have with someone. Shall I post that PM you sent me that I never responded to?
I've never been wrong about the NWC. I've had , what, 20 of them???? You have not had one and you keep pushing the envelope saying it is not worth as much and now use the "lucky" term.
We all get lucky I guess. I "make up" numbers and you tear them down with no basis for it.
This seems to happen every time Dream posts something on NA. Who cares what he wants for it or thinks its worth, he can ask whatever, no one has to agree. If it doesn't sell for what he wants for it, then who cares. If it sells for more then good for him and I hope he gets as much as possible. Dream, I dont know you at all, but I feel like you are quick to snap back and get defensive, at least that is what I have noticed...a slight arrogance...maybe you're just not a cheerful guy. But then again you get attacked often when you post and your collection and knowledge is huge/deep, so I get it. I dont know the past history behind this BS, but seems like there is always an argument every time. In the end why cant everyone just say good luck with the sale like we would for any other member who has a legit copy of something...and move on.
I apologize for any derailment, apparently I was confused on the most recent sales point as my year ago point was outdated. Please no more off-topic posts in this thread, thanks.
The gold nwc that just recently sold use to belong to my buddy Cole. I purchased my grey nwc from him back in June (#0185). Don't want to list the price here on the forum but if someone must know you can pm me. I got a great price I think. Bryan is a friend of mine as well and I can confirm that his did indeed sell for 25k.

Since when it is okay to argue like this on price in someone's sale thread?
Since its an NWC
(FYI your Game Galaxy weblink seems to be broke.)
