I want to think this, but I don't think that's the way it will go. Did I miss it or did Cersei say she's pregnant and going to proclaim Jaime as the father? I feel like his downfall all along has been her, and she's going to be what ends up killing him. I somehow just think this show isn't going to give him a full redemption, even though that'd be far more enjoyable for me at least, as a viewer.
I keep thinking they're going to kill off Jorah, and man, he's about my favorite character on the show. When they were on the lake (before everyone, but Thoros, magically survived), I really thought that would be the end of him. Granted, when Jon offered him the sword, I told my wife "if he takes it, he's dead" thinking he'd get his family sword, get chewed up by the walkers, and in his last breath return it to Jon.
I'm excited for the next episode, I hate that we'll have to wait after that, I'm ready to see how the story ends.
She did hint that she was pregnant. Then said something like "don't ever betray me again" Jamie had the same puzzled look on his face that I did. What was that supposed to mean?
Come on there's no way you fall in a frozen lake in basically the Arctic, GET OUT of the lake, stand ready to fight, hop on a horse and escape. Come on.
What bothered me the most is that they go north, find white walkers, send bastard back to the wall to send the crow, Danny get's the message, the whole squad sits in the middle of the frozen lake, Danny flies with dragons and saves them, than they are back at the wall and John comes back on the horse...and all this in one episode but ok...but it felt like everything happened in 1 FREAKING DAY!? Before it took them few episodes to reach a certain spot...

Did you see that they slept overnight on that island in the middle. Alot of people are missing that point. Its still all happened quick but it was more like 2 days. And the only thing that really had to travel was the raven to dragonstone then dany flies the dragons which im guessing are pretty damn fast way to travel. They were all really close to eastwatch so gendry running there and john riding there wasnt a big deal. Dany was waiting there for the rest of the evening waiting for him to get back too.
Also wasnt mentioned but Ive seen it mentioned. Dragonstone isnt far at all from kings landing. Really really close. So that whole euron sailing stuff is kind of easily explained.

Just for shits i googled distance from wall to dragonstone and Many topics on distance popped up like this gem. Who knows if writers really think 1500 miles but thats what thia claims
Quest my dude i am most glad snow didnt die, nor the hound my personal fav. Just way too much last minute just kidding they are saved stuff compared to the great writing i am used to from this show. Not sure if they rushed it or what but they could have told almost the same battle story without all the totally incredible last minute savior appearances most glaringly benjee riding through the whole army unscathed at just the right moment only to save jon for miraculously after he already had been saved by dragons, and then pulled himself out of sub zero water while being attacked by the dead
The most intriqing thing for me right now is little finger. No idea what his end game is other than power. I could see him turning ont he starks
The arya sansa stuff is the least interesting part for me. Itll get better, but its just taking awhile to payoff. Sansa is one of the characters i just dont care that much about. The only winterfell thing i cant wait to see is when bran finally talks to jon.
So is sam traveling to winterfell? Wheres he headed?
I agree, the Arya/Sansa stuff is nearly illogical and slow going, but all the foreshadowing on that dagger tells me that Littlefinger will become more intimate with it soon (at the hands of Arya).
Sansa used to be my favorite chica on the show, but damn has her character got stale. Still a hottie at least, something about redheads .
Regarding Sam, I assume he is heading north to either Winterfell or Dragonstone - I'm anticipating the team doesn't find out about Gilly's masterful reading until next season.
Quite the season finale. I was very pleased with it. Not too surprised with the Little Finger resolution, but it was very satisfying. Glad they finally cracked the Jon Snow puzzle and just have to tell him. Funny he banged his aunt as they figured it out. Cersei sucks. I was hoping Jaime would cut her up. Kinda sucks he is going north by himself and not bringing an army. He must have an important part to play coming up.
Very excited for the last season. Sucks we have to wait so long!
This season wasn't nearly as good as the first few. However, I did really enjoy the opening of episode 1 (payback for the red wedding) that was really good.
Rest was predictable and lacked the shock value I'd grown used to.

just disagree completely.
yea a few things are predictable, but weve had 7 seasons of a show and the books since the 90s. Fan theories and guesses have been around for years. Some of them will be right. We have 7 years of this show and all the drama and story is coming to a head. Just because you think something might happen doesnt make it just as awesome finally seeing it on screen. Its a payoff. Every season of game of thrones is really good(7 included). But dont pretend the first few are any better. There were some dull story moments and feet dragging in those episodes that at times barely drug along. Not every episode was great. This past season had so much payoff and edge of your seat watching, there wasnt a weak episode in the bunch. Were there a few things i wished they wouldve tweaked. Yea sure, but it was very entertaining regardless.
But i get it, once something gets too popular, some people have to hate. Usually starts with "the first seasons were great"
To say the rest was predictable but the arya revenge red wedding wasnt? Thats kinda laughable. The second that scene started i thought everyone already knew it was arya so the unveil was pretty predictable. Doesnt mean it wasnt awesome to see though even though its predictable.
I did not expect littlefinger to get killed tonight. Also, already knew Cersei was going to plan something, but having Jaime to tell her fuck you was fantastic. Is Tormund still alive??

These last couple seasons were not based on GRRM and it is clear from the start. How many nude and or sex scenes have their been this season?
We had a PG-13 one at the end of the last episode but that is all that I recall. Were there any others?

Expected Littlefinger to die, didn't expect it to be in court, though.
Glad to see Jaime turn against his sister in a meaningful way.
What an overall great episode, and a perfect way to slide into the final season. Most of it was honestly predictable with all the foreshadowing, especially with Littlefinger, I just didn't expect them to do it so smoothly in an official courtroom sort of way.
Was really hoping for the Clegane bros to get it on one more time, but hopefully they hinted at it with them reuniting briefly. Speaking of the Zombie Mountain, for a "zombie" he has quite a bit of control over his emotions...he resisted the urge to hammer on his bro, to kill Tyrion and to kill Jaime.
The white walker handling was pretty awesome, good acting on the reactions by Cersei/Jaime and group. Definitely anticipated her fake truce to try and backdoor the group, it's what she does best - lie, manipulate and intimidate.
The Euron/Theon scene just felt awkward but setup the "idea" of running off to an island to avoid the Great War. Will Cersei consider this to keep her baby alive (whether she really is pregnant or not).
The hookup between AE(JON) and Dany was nicely played alongside Bran's voice telling the audience that Jon is fucking his aunt. Wonder how that will pan out from a political perspective.
Finally, the Dragon/Wall scenario was definitely expected, but I have to say was visualized really well, as have ALL the dragon scenes this season - top notch. If we assume that Dragons can fly at the speed of a jet liner (and the blue Dragon seems extra agressive/fast), then they should run into our group in about 30 seconds .
Can we get some predictions on how next Season will end? I have some deep thoughts on the Night King and his origins, which might factor into the ending, but what do you all think?

I think Jamie will sacrifice himself fighting white walkers to redeem himself. Jon might become Night King and leave into deep north to comeback again after thousands of years.
And I can bet $50 right now, Tyrion will ride one of those dragons sometime in the last season.
I thought the season was overall ranging from meh to garbage. If the end of the show wasn't in sight, I would probably stop watching after this mess of a season.

you watch the show for sex scenes? jesus. Everyone likes seeing hot chicks naked, but Id gladly remove all of it, if they would take out the all the gay dude sex scenes from early in the show. Makes a great show nearly unwatchable with family.
who watches game of thrones for the sex scenes? really? Theres tits and ass all over the internet. You didnt like this season because there wasnt enough sex? Welp thats a first.
^ LOL, I don't think they're saying they watch the show for the sex scenes but rather noting how far we're deviating or past the point in the books. My mild understanding of the books is that they are far more raunchy, especially with our beloved Khaleesi.

He probably wants more than just the north, since with Sansa he would have control of the north, the riverlands, and the vale.
But it is a total Icarian plan, that is going to melt his face off way before he gets there...

These last couple seasons were not based on GRRM and it is clear from the start. How many nude and or sex scenes have their been this season?
We had a PG-13 one at the end of the last episode but that is all that I recall. Were there any others?
you watch the show for sex scenes?
