  • Wife made some bacon and eggs this morning but I've been trying to stay on task to drop a few pounds, so I opted for Corn Chex and half a banana instead. 'Twas good.

Actually bacon and eggs support weight loss. Chex and Bananas have alot of carbs and sugar.

Fair enough but the problem with bacon and eggs is...stopping eating them...and then down the rabbit hole you go. It doesn't help that my wife is from the South, so the concept of preparing "sensible portions" of anything is alien.

Bananas have natural sugars, though, which aren't nearly as bad as processed sugars. Your body actually needs a little bit of sugar in order to function optimally.

  • Anything that's edible. I've ate cookies for breakfast this morning.

Exactly. Same with fats and carbs as well. All play an essential role in the body. It's the type and quantity we consume that is most important. Honestly, that's the key to healthy diet: educated choices and moderate portions.
  • Bacon and eggs
  • You guys are wack if you think processed garbage like Chex is anywhere near as good as eggs, which are among the absolute best foods you can eat.

I support you on this breakfast decision.  I would have a problem only eating 1 strip of bacon and 2 eggs myself.  The way I'm looking at it, I need a calorie deficet for the day, so I'm not going to give a way calories on a meal that I may still feel hungry after eating.  I picked up donuts for the fam on Saturday and made oatmeal with a teaspoon of brown sugar and 6 blackberries for myself.  The way I feel after eating an oatmeal breakfast is much different than how I feel after eating bacon and eggs.
  • 1. Bacon and eggs and toast (or english muffin) and hash browns and orange juice

    2. Bagel with cream cheese and lox and lettuce/tomato/onion

    3. Jersey breakfast: scrambled egg, american cheese, and Taylor ham on a kaiser roll

I love eggs. Don't get me wrong. They're amazing. One of my favorite foods, perhaps. In fact, I love them so much that it's difficult to eat just one or two.

    couldn't help myself lol
  • Left over Chinese food
  • coffee and a donut today
  • I made some iced pumpkin coffee with some cereal and some Rainer cherries.
  • Casey's Breakfast Pizza ftw  . That's where it's at in the midwest!
  • A boring bowl of cereal
  • Was rushing so a bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee from McDonald's. Not bad in a pinch
  • Today it was Oats with 2 tsp. of sugar and a small handful of blueberries. Just bought the berries so they were a little tart, but it was still a good lo-cal breakfast that didn't make me feel full for half a day.

Oh man! I'm originally from Iowa and love me some Casey's. I can't believe they have the monopoly on breakfast pizza. I've never come across it anywhere else.
