Nintendo Demo Vision unit

I got this from a guy who used to work for NOA in the early 90s and have never seen another one on ebay. It has a outlet for the gameboy to work through av wires, pre-super gameboy.

  • That is the standard box inside GameBoy kiosks. Uses NES+MMC5 to transfer graphics from the GameBoy to TV screen. When they sell I have seen the full kiosks for ~$500 but sometimes get crazy.
  • These were not just for kiosks. They were also sent to game developers. There are 2 types one allows for 2 gameboys and sells for a premium. The gameboys used with this are hardwired somehow. You would need the gameboys for full value. They do not often come up for sale but just a deck like you have I'd say is worth $150 or so but they are rare to see so it hard to say. If you are selling for $150 you might have problems finding a buyer. If you are a buyer you might have problems finding one for sale at that price. So it is hard to say.
  • Is the 2 GameBoy one more than just 2 boards stacked in there?
  • damn, the one I have is a single GB unit
  • I had a 2 GB unit but sold it. It looks just like that one but you can plug in 2 GBs. I think it was just for game development.
