I don't think think the price is too crazy but for the price of the small one you can just get a real C64 and the full sized one will probably be priced similar to a MiST computer.
I think computer emulators in tiny boxes are a little weird though. It's less convenient to plug a separate keyboard and display into this box than to just buy C64 Forever and run an emulator on your PC using your existing keyboard.
I hear ya. Chip's Challenge was the first video game I ever played and loved it! I seen a chips challenge nes cartridge that I want to get my hands on one day
I'd be more interested if it had more of the games I played as a kid. Maybe I wasn't playing the "good" games, so these will be more fun. I liked Zaxxon, Wizard of Wor, the C64 version of Ghostbusters, Jumpman, Radar Rat Race, and tons of others I'm forgetting. I'm glad to see Impossible Mission on the list, the modern remakes get some of the details wrong, even on "classic" mode.

Fuck yeah, Chip's Challenge.

Not an official Commodore product, right? They don't actually call it "Commodore."
Apparently it's all licensed. A separate holding company has the Commodore trademark so they can't call it that.
Though if DefaultGen is saying you can buy an original for the price...it probably isn't cheap
However, I don't think the C64 mini will be very popular with the exception of just the hardcore commodore collectors, maybe.
Where's the price info? I couldn't find it.

Suggested retail price is said to be $69.99.
Also, with all the minis going out these days, I'd love to see a joke/oddball mini like the CD-i mini for some reason
