Twilight Zone owning Hungarians unite!   LOL

Damn, maybe the only two on Earth! No one I know in Hungary even knows what pinball is. My uncle vaguely remembered it as "Oh the bing bing flipper flipper game?".

hahah yes!   My Dad (he's from the Italian side of the family) said that it in Italy they just called it "Flipper" so maybe that was more common in Europe?

How long have you had yours?   Have had mine a couple months only and I love it, but it also pisses me off as it seems I get punished badly when I miss a shot.   (I'm not very good though and haven't been into pinball that long).   The music is awesome on it, super catchy

I got mine in 2014, drove something like 16 hours round trip to get it too. It looked like it was pulled off route and stored in a basement for 20 years, so a perfect candidate to shop out without having to do any cosmetic work on the playfield or cabinet. When you get better at pinball you'll appreciate punishing games, just like with video games. I can't really stand LOTR as good as the game is because you can play one game for like 45 minutes, it's ridiculous.

TAF is another sweet game. '92-'94 is my favorite era of pinball by far. Almost everything Williams put out was absolute gold.

My two favorite machines growing up ( I’m guess that’s true for a lot of people). I had a chance to buy an Addam’s Family machine a couple years ago. Came close to dropping $$$ on it but I’ve heard maintaining these beauties is a pain.

I could not get into Illbleed, probably needed to play it when it came out, bought it when i was pickin up Dreamcast games again and quickly sold it. Cool stuff though! Still want that Pocky box!

The game has its share of issues, thats for sure. It's just so ridiculous some of the shit it throws at you. Kinda like a shitty horror movie   Its a fun experience, moreso than a fun game, if that makes sense.

Pocky box aint goin no where

Sweet, sounds like you got yourself a great Twilight, congrats

LOTR sounds awesome LOL.   I love long games for now, but maybe you're right that I'll appreciate shorter games later.      92up was the bomb for sure!

you have to be prepared to get in there and fix stuff.   I'm not very good at it yet but its rewarding when you do fix a problem.   Its also gut wrenching when a new problem shows up LOL

  • ^^^ lol, i did not have the right frame of mind when playing that! All excited when i got it like, i heard this is a cool horror game, plopped it and was like, what the hell is this garbage!!? Same thing happened to me with Deadly Premonition!

SNES Sign/Boxed collection is probably my favorite stuff in my collection! SNES was the system that made me fall in love with games as a kid so i really enjoy having these!

My copy of Gran Turismo 3 only because it's one of my more odd pieces

Damn, I want that King of Dragons
  • ^^^Love that game! Still play it often! That reminds me, i need to start writing down where the continues are located, still not sure if ots random or if they are in certain places in levels.
  • Final Fantasy III before Final Fantasy II. Jeez, did you put any care at all into that collection or did you just throw some games up on to the shelf randomly?

Just random shelf chuckin!   i think its cuz those 2 have box protectors, lol. Still need to invest in some more box protectors. Only have like 6 or 7 for random more expensive titles! XD
  • Probably my collection of Capcom labeled variant MM6 games. They completed my NES/SNES/GB MM collection + variants

  • Bionic Commando lunchbox is definitely a top 3!

  • Disregard my previous post. I'd have to say that this is now the gem of my collection:

  • My gems are just the games I owned as a kid that I still have today (all of which are still CIB). Games like Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 and 3. Rad Racer. Super Metroid. Super Mario World 1 and 2. These games will always be the most important to me because I will never forget what it was like to get these games for the first time and play them. The fact that I've been fortunate enough to hold on to them all of these years just makes it that much more special.

Got a good story behind it...?

It's not one I owned as a kid, though it's one of my gems because I found a minty copy at a local game store for much lower than retail. Very fun game!

  • My German "Game Boy Top 10" sign, with a row of said games in display cards contained in small plastic "pockets" (think those small cases you would store a rare pokemon/magic card in - that sort of thing but except even better) and numbers from 1 to 10 under each card. The cards themselves also have some game description on their back in german wich can be read if you flip the cards upward.

The sign is big, long, stylish and seems to be somewhat unique considering i've never seen it before or after. If it only was designed for the German advertising campaign and never appeared in the huge catalogue of American display signs it's even better.
  • Some amazing stuff in here guys! I love how what one person considers a gem varies greatly from one to another. Some people it's just a common NES game that they've owned since they were a kid and cherish it, while others it's a super rare title worth thousands!
  • honestly? It's my childhood copy of mario 3. It's the only original childhood collection cart I have.

Also my copy of stadium events, but not because of the value. Because it's the only thing in my collection my wife bought for me.
  • Yeah, its always fun seeing the different stuff on display.

As far as actual games, at the moment its my first edition sealed SMB

realistically though its well down my list as there's various pieces of original artwork I much prefer to it including this mega man.

Dude, that is probably the most unique video game item I've ever seen.  What other original video game art do you have?  I can't say I've ever seen any other pieces.
