My Walmart order is still "processing" and my credit card was charged last week. I've never had a good experience with Walmart for things I've wanted at launch though. This is my first time ordering something from Walmart online for a launch and it's still messed up.
Not my favorite but easiest option so I went to Walmart. Camped out for a few hours inside until midnight and was early in the line of over 20 of them they got. I just chatted and joked a bit and got bored and watched a movie to pass the time.
Went to the site within the first minute and spent the last ten minutes getting errors trying to put it in my cart but now says unavailable. Was right beside a GameStop store and they don't have them in store either and had no clue when the next shipment would arrive.
Today was the day for Gamestop. I have a phone tracker and about 2-3 hours ago it said the website had them up for sale. They lasted maybe 15-20min as I don't think people realized it but I was able to click through. Having one already I didn't buy another but I could have.

Yeah, I believe around three times today it was in stock on Gamestop according to my alerts. Only one time I did catch it saying it was available and I could add to cart. Hopefully tomorrow, there will be more in stock at Gamestop.
The console has been hacked. A couple videos starting to pop up on YT with custom game selections on the CE. Should become even easier in the coming weeks.
None of the Gamestops around me had any new stock today. Furthermore, they didn't anticipate any new stock in the near future and had no useful information at all to give me. Plus, now I feel gross for going into a Gamestop.
I had a few meetings on Friday morning and so missed out on the first wave and foolishly thought being an Amazon Prime member who requested alerts would eventually net me one of these. Instead, I never got any sort of email from Amazon and now I'm just left holding my dick
I wouldn't mind getting this set up on my NES CEs and SNES CEs, as long as the interface was the exact same so it looks natural. Not a priority at the moment though.
Yep, official 1.0 is slated in the next couple of days, so I'm definitely waiting. Looks like there are some games that have issues, but none that I really care about, so I'm good
The small incompatible list is fine with me. Nothing major other than a couple RPGs that I'll probab never get around to playing.
As tempted as I am to jump on it when 1.0 is released, I might wait a few days after to make sure there are no issues with stuff I'm thinking about putting on
Apparently you have to convert games from other regions which I couldn't be bothered to do. I will probably wait until 2.0 unless 1.0 is really good. My Nes CE has all the games I want regardless.

Eh, as long as 1.0 does US games, I'll be satisfied. I have my pc w/ BSNES for other games. This is probably gonna be a "lazy" thing for when I don't feel like booting up my pc (it's on my tv)and want to play something lol

A regular tap would take me to the Sheets iOS app, but it would load forever. Killing the app didn't help. Always a message when I re-open the app would say something implying that I couldn't load the document with that particular Google account, but I tried different Google accounts.

Almost had one like 30 times, site kept crashing. It was in my cart twice and then checkout crashed. Standard bullshit. Damnit!
