Is it a good trade? Trade a new NES classic for a new SNES classic

I am considering trading with someone locally a new NES classic plus $20 for a new SNES classic. I was wondering if it would be a good/even trade or would the NES classic be worth more since they haven't made them in awhile.

  • Right now, I think NES classics would be in higher demand. I certainly wouldn't add cash to get a SNES unless I had no luck getting one.

Dunno what will happen when the new ones come out next year, and if there will be enough.
  • Look up eBay's average sold listings for a new Nes classic and a new Snes classic. You should get an answer on the difference in value.
  • According to my local Gamestop, the Super NES should have another shipment in a few weeks, so if it was me I would wait. They said the NES Classic is supposed to be re released in the spring, so based on a value standpoint, I would wait unless you just really want the Super NES over the NES Classic.
  • No.

Is this an extra console you have?
  • Nes classic "is worth more" than a snes classic right now
  • You could sell your extra NES on ebay, buy an SNES one, and have extra money. So no, bad trade.
