wacky races with xmas sticker under label
I have a wacky races and you can see the square shape of a sticker.
it says seasons greetings. Its under the label. very faint but i can see it in person, and its very hard to take a picture of.
the game was made i believe on christmas day, so maybe that has something to do with it.
check out the pics.

did a little fiddling to make it more visable.
strange cart you got there.
The us version was released May 2 1992
Is the pcb real?
That's what I was wondering. I can't imagine the sequence of events that took place at the factory for this to happen.

"Hey who switched the game labels with christmas stickers again?!"
need some good light to see it

Where did you get it? This is crazy
I made a thread a few months ago where I bought a factory sealed Sega Saturn 3 pack (Virtua Fighter 2, Daytona USA, Virtua Cop) on eBay, I opened it, and a used band-aid was stuck to one of the sleeves.
LOL

i got it from a local collector
i already had the game, he just wanted me to swap my clean one with his. i was like no problem.
he knew i liked odd stuff like that.
ill work on pics later, i had a job interview then am at work.
Has a label swap been ruled out?
That was my next concern.
Were people hand applying labels during production? I always just assumed they were machine installed on an assembly line.
OP can you give us more pics?
overall label
spine
close up on corners of label

very tough to see it like i said.
you can see the outline of the square sticker in a pic or 2
the bottom left corner of label has a little crinkle, but nothing that suggests a whole label was removed
probably lifted a little from not being flat.
If it were removed after the fact there's no way it would be that clean unless someone went to a lot of trouble, heat gun, new adhesive etc. - and for what? To confuse some internet nerds?
Definitely see the outline of the sticker but can't really make out the writing. There is a sticker there and really what it says doesn't matter much.
I am going to assume some chucklehead at the factory thought he was being funny and somehow put it on there. That's my thoughts anyway
