Quite cool.  I believe employees of NMI used these so stores could look at them to order them.  Keep in mind this is pre-mega-internet we have now so something like this would be required to show the displays.

They have popped up a few times in the past.  This one is kind of special though.  But I have seen all of these pics before.

I hope the buyer is on Nintendoage and/or is not a private collector so we can see the rest of the pages.

  • Thanks for info.
  • Seriously a cool binder. Did you end up getting it?
  • Pretty sweet item to get your hands on that's for sure.
  • That first pic is the display cabinet I have, now I gotta find all those items to fill it lol
  • Fantastic piece. No doubt
  • That is amazing and I'd love to have it. It strikes me as something that'd be great to own, but that I got at a decent price. It sold, but I hope the buyer got it for a better price than 2k, and like LaC said, on here and willing to share the pics

  • I hope the buyer shares the pages, would love to see them all especially the prices they charged back then
  • Thanks for sharing.

even watermark the darn things if you have too. Pieces of history like this need to be seen.

    nice find
  • This is a great piece for sure! LaC is correct in his explanation. In those golden days before / early inter-web, the struggle was real. Web pages took 5 minutes to load, you went to people's houses to see if they were home, and talking in private on the phone was tough if you had any siblings in the house..... people had to carry these hunks of paper around to help visualize the product for the consumer.

Do you know the buyer Laketown? Or was it just posted on some other group page?
