5 Screw BurgerTime

I picked one of these up recently, would like to sell it because I don't collect variants but don't know what to list it at. The NA zine lists it as a 6. Condition wise the cart is about a 9. Don't see too many of these around, but what's it worth?

  • I know the e-zine talked about the difference between 3/5 screws...but did anybody ever break it down to the difference in price? I did not think they were worth any more or less..
  • no offense Matt, but you really need to brush up on your NES pricing. Especially for putting down Stadium Events. Being a rare variant as subtle as screw versions, there are known games to have a $200+ difference in sale. Now, this is extreme due to some games being super rare, most variants do command a slight difference in price from the more common version, and some there are hardly any differences in price at all. However, a rarity of 6 IMO is nothing special, so this would tend to still be around the ezine price for the game.
  • The only real price bumps occur with the R8/9/10s of the variant world, although like I said in the other thread, I had to hunt for burgertime. That said, anyone serious about completing their variant set would have spoken up by now if they still needed it, and were willing to pay a small premium so they would not have to hunt for this one. You're probably stuck with it for a while, sorry man.

lol yea, no problem man. Just didnt want you passing up a 5 screw Mike Tysons Punch Out or Mega Man 1 for $30 at a store because you thought it was overpriced. However, even if you had picked it up, it wont have as nice of a return as the SE image
