I did it...I took one for the team
So despite the high odds that the new Burger King $1.49 10pc Spicy Chicken Nuggets contain cat food, I took the plunge for all of you.
I tried them over lunch today and honestly, not too bad! Better quality than I expected, as a former employee that worked at BK back in the 99cent chicken finger/popper days.
I love spicy foods and these ones even caught up to me - they are definitely hotter than the Spicy Nuggets/Chicken from Wendy's.
Now please rest easy and further enlightened in your far-too-difficult daily lunch choices.
You guys have any crappy fast food gotos? Not gonna lie, the KFC famous bowl is normally my jam.

Love me a big mac and a dr pepper as well.
I tried BK nuggets back when they had some ridiculously cheap promotion like $0.10 -they were inedible.
I'll take a chance on spicy nuggets
my go to is Bojangle's Cajun Filet Biscuit and 2 BoBerry Biscuits!
That could be one of the most southern sounding meals Ive ever heard.
And Never heard of Bojangles for the record.
Does your Wendy's still have spicy nuggets? Haven't been available around me for years now

I believe mine still do in Iowa, I swear I got some spicy ones not many moons ago.
I'll say, the BK ones are fairly comparable to the Wendy's Spicy Nuggets, prolly a tad smaller and bit more fire. Sure weren't too bad with some BBQ.
P.S. - forgot to mention my one other jam, the French Dip from Arby's - always treats a belly good lol

I highlighted the only thing needed in this thread. I could eat that everyday, every meal.

The cajun filet is good. Bojangles actually has awesome biscuits, especially for a fast food place. It's mainly in the south. We have lots here in VA but I'm not sure how far north or west you can find them.
Anytime I've ever been to Arby's it was just gross. Never had something that I enjoyed. When my wife won't make her mind up about where we should go for dinner I tell her I'll just take her to Arby's. It's a potent threat.
Arby's definitely sucks
Jalapeño Poppers done right. It's hard to get good jalapeño bites from fast or casual food diners (Hardee's/Carl's Jr are nasty; same for Captain D's), but Arby's Poppers with Bronco Berry sauce are great! There's a creamcheese-stuffed pepper in there and none of this fried blob of fake cheese sauce (Cheez Whiz?) with bits of pepper like you might find elsewhere. When they are just right I eat 'em plain!
Also, the Market Fresh Sandwhiches are much less processed than other fast food options. They are large enough to split too. They aren't as tasty as junk food sandwiches but I don't feel terrible after eating half.
If I have to eat any shitty chain fast foods it will be a Subway sandwich every couple months or so
To paraphrase Jim Gaffigan, in the last 10 years I've never eaten McDonalds/Wendys/Burger King/Hardees/Arbys/Taco Bell/KFC/A&W/etc and thought "I'm glad I ate that"

They'll give you a side of the au jus to go with anything, just ask them for it.

I don't really understand the Arby's hate.

The bread for the French dip sandwich is what makes it dip-able, though.
The other rolls would get soggy.
I should try to order a french dip with the diced jalapeno from the jalapeno sliders...

You obviously eat too slow.

Certainly never been accused of that, before...

If you order that they give you a tour of the back storage closet. No shirt, no pants.. lots of service
If I'm looking for something else:

So a question for the enthusiasts of Wendy's and BK nuggets... do you not have easy access to Chik Fil A?
We only have them in downtown Chicago and the suburbs here so not very easy to get to.

Alas, no :-( I would have eaten there a hell of a lot more back in the day if we did .. closest one is like 20-30 miles away .. and i'm pretty sure they are fairly new to the area too

I'm no enthusiast, but no, we do not have that in Montana as far as I know
If you ever have the opportunity to get Zaxby's, they are more on the serving-speed of Five Guys (so not "fast" food, per se), but they are even better.
