I love it all displayed, and hate you for having Dino Park Tycoon. I'm only 5 games, and 9 total long boxes from the complete Long Box set. That said, I doubt I'll ever finish, given how difficult Carrier is to find, and impossible DPT is to find.
Are there any cool stories about why some of these games are so rare, or maybe about some games that people thought were myths and then suddenly they were found or something?
I don't know very much about the 3DO or its library, there must be some interesting stories about this system, right?

I mean I don't know that there are interesting stories... like to my knowledge there werent any pallettes of games lost in fires, etc.
Most of the genuinely rare stuff were just smaller printings. Dino Park Tycoon for example was the very last title released for the system and it was an "edutainment" title by MECC (The Oregon Trail people).
All the porn games were sold out of catalogs, which lead to low prints.
And some of the stuff isn't rare loose, but is INSANELY rare in box. Carrier, Spaceshuttle, Slopestyle, Mathemagics, and the Putt-Putt games are tremendously challenging to find in box since they were children-targeted titles. Its basically the same reason why Gameboy is so hard to collect CIB. Kids throw shit away.
Not to mention the size of these boxes. They didn't fit on shelves, while Jewelcases easily did.

Congrats on this achievement! Always nice to see a complete CIB set on a platform not mainstream in collector circles. When you mentioned the word "porn", it got me thinking back to the mid 90s, and Sega/Mega CD with the infamous Night Trap game and the start of all those FMV games.

Porn games you say.
The US ones are just short clips of late night Cinemax mixed with some tedious "game" (or no game at all). Japan got Virtual Cameraman, which is like Pokemon Snap for porn. It's not good but as far as old porn games go they're masterpieces.
I thought this is a rare enough occasion to celebrate it with this community! As of tonight, I've completed the US 3do set CIB!
Awesome accomplishment dude, I've never even seen a complete 3DO set before. What were the other sets you completed back-to-back??
SNES, NES, and Turbografx Hucard

I love a lot of the FMV stuff for nostalgic reasons: Braindead 13, Daedelus Encounter, Night Trap
Star Control II is probably one of the best games on the system, Wing Commander 3 is pretty good with the flight stick, Gex, D, Return Fire, all the lightgun games.

Theres actually some great games on the system!
Don't forget Quarterback Attack and the few RPGs we got. The line up is very small but there are definitely some gems in there like the ones you and I previously mentioned.
Also, I rather enjoyed despite it being hard Surpreme Warrior. I'd love to see someone get the original uncompressed videos and release that for the PS4 like what happen with Night Trap.
My god! You've done it! Congrats. That was a long time coming. Bet it's satisfying to know that it's finally done.
You totally should do CDi next. It's almost like a console that has similar obscurity to 3DO.
Also, pretty amazing that something dwarves the Sega Saturn cases!
You know if thought about cdi, but I also know nothing about it, so I'd need to do a ton of research first. I may go for something I can do casually on the cheap, like original xbox

Congrats, pretty cool!
That was a cool video. What's next?
Likely a long hiatus while I figure that out. I've done 4 sets back to back. I need a break in more ways than one.

Spectacular man!! Well done. Panasonic Age is over there though. ;-)

You people with your damn milestones lol. Good job!

Other than the usual SSF2T and Samurai Shodown I'd say my favorite game is Star Control II followed by Wing Commander III.

Poppycock. In the next year you should finish off Genesis, Super Famicom, Famicom, and PS2

We decided to buy a house instead.
