Konami's Superb Customer Service
Hi, I recently had an issue with a Konami game I bought and had a pleasent surprise in contacing the Konami European Customer Services team!
I bought the 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection', a Steelbook Edition:

This Re-release has all of the DLC, The Mirror of Fates HD Remaster (From a 3DS title) & a Demo for the next game. Sadly the content was on a code and not on disc - something which pains me deeply in all such cases! I bought the game sealed off eBay & of course when I got it and opened it, the codes did not work on the PlayStation Store - Needless to say I was not a happy bunny.
The Manual in which the code was printed on has no indication of an expiry date, so I contacted the Konami European Customer Services team:

After a week or so, I got a reply stating that the problem was Sony had discontinued the codes from their store! Which surprised me, I thought the blame would be on Konami and not printing an expiry date. Upon noting this the Custmoer Service team contacted Sony for me and made the codes active again - Note, I never gave them my code so this would apply to all of the codes from this release, EUR/UK versions anyway. And....:

Yeah it worked!
I'm so relieved that I have the content now as from someone who tries to always get the GotY/DLC Editions this was a big deal for me and I felt Konami really pulled through this one for me! Anyway I thought it was a cool little story to share with the site! I've not actually played the Lords of Shadow games so I look forward to seeing what a 3D Castlevania title is like - I loved Pandora's Tower on the Wii
