Houston offense didn't show up on the road again. They've got to correct that if they are going to have a shot at this thing. I'm really happy for the North Texas boy Kershaw pitching a gem in the WS since his only fault is lack of postseason skins. He got one tonight.
Astros dont score vs lefties. Bregman is awesome vs them, but then gurriel cant hit them at all. It really hurts the lineup. During the season we got on base, but now even that is in question. Dodgers have 3 lefty starters. This series was an uphill battle to begin with. Astros need to beat rich hill tomorrow with verlander. Rich Hill I just dont understand. He was out of the league bad, then randomly just starts pitching well? just weird. Astros saw plenty of rich hill in oakland so hopefully theyll be more comfortable. Most of the lineup has only seen kershaw once besides altuve.
Not a fan of an AL team having to play NL rules. Its all the advantage to the NL Team. Keuchel and verlander dont get ABs during the year to work on bunting etc. Pitchers hitting is dumb in the first place. They have no business doing it.
I like that pitchers have to hit in the NL, don't get why they get a free pass. Plus it's fun when a guy like Bumgarner mashes one.
Now that being said, I find it silly the two leagues have different rules about it. They should just pick one and go with it.
Its all the advantage to one league. Astros cant hit gattis now. He is the 2nd catcher and we have mccann there. It does nothing but hurt the astros. Every year a stud pitcher goes down having to bat. Its ugly and boring. Its a free out that inflates the entire NL pitching side of things.
The one or two good hitting pitchers doesnt make up for the bullshit. This is the championship and we are letting dallas keuchel handle a bat. Not saying he shouldnt be able to but he never gets to practice or do it but what? once maybe twice a year in interleague?
NL advantage is way overblown. AL pitchers and NL pitchers are very comparable in batting stats, they both suck. AL gets a bigger advantage in their park because they actually pay big money for a guy to just bat and never play the field where as NL don't have such a player.

only player on the astros roster like that is beltran and hes more of a mentor player. Gattis is a catcher and catches 1/3 of the time during the regular season. The days of paying a DH arent really true anymore. Teams just put their worst defender there now.
NL Teams benefit big time from the DH man. They can pull their worst defender and put them there and start a better defense on the field and still upgrade with a position player over a pitcher batting
fox has a smaller than normal k box. If the ball is touching it, its a strike. Havent seen anything agregious yet. Verlander got a couple borderline calls. So did hill
Last nights game was better - both pitchers were getting away with shit
And hr!!!
because you are seeing it from a dodgers fan point of view. you arent watching the zone for the dodgers while the astros hit. Last nights zone was way worse. It was an amoeba.
um no hes not. quit making shit up. They release ump reports on all pitches post game. So we will see. I can guarantee you, you are wrong
So yeah I admitted consistency's but not in favor of both teams tonight
no last night wasnt consistent. it was an amoeba zone. Hed call the high strike, then stop. Hed call the low strike then stop. It was bad for both teams. Do you even really watch baseball? or are you just catching the playoffs?
Im outta here man. Enjoy watching your highest payroll in baseball 4 years in a row team. Verlander isnt catching all the breaks. He is just a good damn pitcher like kershaw and keuchel were last night.
When stuff is a bad call even for my teams Ill call it out. This is not the case. Enough with that ump complaining. Not the case tonight so far.
same game as last night. just solo HRs reversed. Astros havent hit almost the entire postseason. Feels like Ive watched a different team the last month.
and punkr, yeah verlander is really getting the calls. Lmao that inning their were plenty of just outside pitches that could have easily been strikes. Not called. Walk and then a HR. I dont want to hear shit about umps and verlander again

It totally is a major advantage for the NL, I can't argue that.

national league format fucking sucks. Ruins a game
He's getting strikes out of the box
That's what's saving Houston

He's getting away with more strikes - and it's nornally in the same area so it's easy to catch
I'm calling it as I'm watching it

im sure you are writing it down on a talley dodger fan.
and if its consistent one spot then its the umps zone and he will call it both ways. Consitency is what you look at for umps. You just admitted it.
Tonight - not really
Reason why I mentioned yesterday's game
So yeah I admitted consistency's but not in favor of both teams tonight
