It's $48 today, MSRP is $80 (which it was previously listed at). I think both are a lot of money for a gold foil cover on a $24 book, but preorder today and decide if you want to cancel later if you think you might want this.
That and to me stuff like that is a very bad idea because it's always rapidly outdated by some new release or new release information so you can feel bad about it being outdated to buy the next hopped up priced samey book with 5% new information.

It's a book of Zelda items and enemies. I don't think anyone is buying it for the information. It looks nice on a shelf and says Zelda on it. It also probably has some pretty pictures.

I'm sure it does, but as it was pointed out you can get the same book without the shiny cover for much less too. I still feel the same about such print items that rapidly get made obsolete. I usually wait and find the stuff in a used bin for a few bucks instead if at all. I held out on the hard cover breath of the wild guide for 6 months and got it for 20 so patience isn't an issue.
Very nice, but I already ordered the "Standard" Hardcover Zelda Encyclopedia. I think the blue color and design fits in better with the Hyrule Historia and Arts and Artifacts book that make up that trilogy.

Exactly what I was going to say.
If you have the first 2 books and you get this version of the 3rd book, they won't match aesthetically.
