Zelda OoT 2DS Limited Edition for Black Friday

Thought some would be interested in this. Sorry if already posted. Also, they are releasing an Explorer's Edition of BotW for Switch.

I also find it hilarious that OoT 3D will be preloaded on a 2DS

    I was really hoping that was going to be a 2DS XL, I'm not sure why they would still be releasing a new console for a game they released 5 years ago. But I'll probably be in for one breath of the Wild.

    I'm going to try and grab one, just because I've been collecting the Zelda 3DS line (only missing the original OOT 3DS). Kind of unnecessary honestly. Would have been cooler to have a Zelda 2DS XL instead, but I get it's a budget item.



    The explorer's edition is also cool, and even though I already own five(!) copies of the game I feel obligated to get this one too. At least it costs the normal amount and isn't an additional charge. I'm just hoping I can get them when they pop up online because I'm not camping out for either of these.

    Not really, when you consider they've been selling a 2ds w/ Mario Kart 7 for $79 since last year. And MK7 runs a good $10 more than OoT currently at retail.

    I defiantly want one of these for my Zelda collection. I will be leaving for a few weeks to go out of state and will not be able to Black Friday shop at all this year. If anyone (somehow) picks up an extra one I will pay retail + a finder's fee.

    Not too impressed with this cash grab. they do this at the end of every consoles life cycle. It usually is just like this. some dirt cheap design with no thought put into it to use up old stock and resources. Would it really hurt Nintendo to put atleast a Hylian Insignia Embossed/Engraved into atleast the plastic on the back? (NINTENDO: Yes because that would require us to produce another mold.) Grrrr.

    I think its a cash grab too. Its doesn't even look cool like the MM 3DS. Its just green with yellow buttons (not gold? At least they look yellow on the box) Nintendo knows Zelda collectors will buy anything with Link on the box.



    This is one of those collectors items that in the future 99% of them will be sealed and unused.



    At least it has cool art for sitting on the shelf!

    I think this is pretty cool. I'll probably snag one for my little cousin who comes from a rougher family and doesn't have anything like this. It would make a great Xmas present for him!



    Assuming this doesn't go scalp city: It might be a cash grab on an item at the end of its life cycle. But for people who can't afford a more expensive system, especially for the young ones, this is a great entry point for Zelda on a system with an awesome library of games that can be had used on the cheap.



    Hope I can get one of these ordered online since I most likely won't be in the states... If not I'll probably just snag the Mario one.

    Agree, I wish it had a triforce or something extra to make it stand out.  It could be a Luigi or TMNT edition if you didn't see the box.
