  • Hard to say exactly which variant but having that serial and the label below the power switch its safe to say it will mostly likely be a 1-chip variant. My guess is a -01

However, most 1-chip variants I have seen do not yellow sooooo....

Hard to say without opening it for sure. I would lean towards a -01/02 most likley as I have never seen a non 1chip without the UN serial and the label below the power switch.
  • Oh, fwiw my UN31 with the lablel is a 1chip-02. Not sure how the numbers were issued though. (in order, series...etc)
  • some other north american consoles come with higher numbers like that but usually start with a different letter sequence\

  • From what I remember oftentimes the higher UN8 and UN9 consoles were refurbished by Nintendo and issued a new number.
  • thanks guys, ProtonX make sense, so I think I pass I'm looking for chip 01 console.
  • I have about 7 1chips Ill post theserials later. I have also sold about 4 or 5 over the past six months. I will never trust a un8 or 9 to be a 1chip. Like stated above those are just refurbished units. There is a master list somewhere that shows the numbers and I would not trust anything under the lowest number in that list. I say that because I bought one that was a fairly small amount under the one in the list and it was not a one chip. When I get time Ill post my serials and give you a better idea of the numberage you are looking for.
  • thank you! Klutch
