My initial thoughts are that the locked 30fps isn't that bad so far. They do add a lot of blurriness to it to compensate, though. That could be an issue for some people. I've only played in handheld so far but this game is really pushing the system. The fans got really loud at one point and were blowing out tons of air. Hope it's not a Switch killer.

Haven't played on handheld yet, but I'm having a great time. Playing a ton of the missions in campaign and also on MP. So far no issues on my end. I'm really liking it!
It's a fairly lengthy campaign. I think it took me all weekend to beat it spending most of my time playing it (on PS4). What difficulty did you choose? The game gets pretty brutal at times. And how are you liking that music?
And I'm going to check out that sd card, Skorp. Wouldn't hurt to upgrade my tablet and my phone as well.
Edit: Don't worry AC, you'll still get your ass kicked. It does get pretty damn hard even on the easiest setting.
I'm loving it so far. I've been playing the last hour on handheld, I'm starting to notice the increase in the fans now, but nothing that's worrying to me, honestly. I'm digging everything about this game so far! The MP is pretty damn smooth, too. I've only had about 2 games where I lost connection out of the dozen or so that I've played.
Doom is great so far! I'm playing on the default difficulty and finding it challenging but not incredibly difficult. The game looks good, I wouldn't think it was downgraded from the originals very much.
I can tell its way downgraded. On handheld it's not terrible, though. I have yet to play it docked. My daughter is watching some show right now, maybe later tonight.
But yeah, it's impressive for sure. Who knew handhelds were capable of what the Switch has been able to?

Played a couple levels. Im shutting down the Argent Tower right now. The game runs pretty damn smooth and looks great to me. Mainly been playin it handheld but its pretty cool to see what the switch is capable of!

I'm about 3 missions in. I got side-tracked with multiplayer. Unlocking so many armor pieces has become way too addicting for me!
My first match I went 13-10 in TDM. Woohoo! If it was lone wolf I would have got smoked lol
I didn't realize they had control point type game modes. Sweet. I don't want the little guy watching this game so I've been alternating between this, FEW and Odyssey.
Is Azure Striker Gunvolt firmly set to release? I've been waiting on this for ages and don't want to buy the digital copy only to find out the physical is actually coming. I had it pe-ordered from Amazon before the date was changed to December 31.

Same. I actually already own it on 3DS, so I’ll wait as long as it takes. Is the date set for 12/31 now? Last I saw was 11/21, which is about a month after it should have released. I guess we will see.
Ah man, 12/31 generally means no set date. Considering how close we are that may mean 'maybe' it gets released. Or, at the least, next year. I have one of those on 3ds and its fun. Would be cool on Switch.
Damn i'm having fun with Doom! Hearing that Skyrim has been ported well and is running silky smooth on the Switch!!! Can't wait until Friday to pick it up!!!

I've never played Splatoon, but I hear good things about it! Maybe I should snag that, next! LOL.
Some company released a Switch dock with a built in projector. I only saw an article in passing, but it looked like a neat idea.
