I've completed 163 NES games so far this year, mostly earlier in the year (January through March). I've taken down a few SNES beat 'em ups since August, including Stone Protectors, Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers, Legend, and Knights of the Round. Rival Turf was one of my craziest and luckiest gaming accomplishments ever, beating the game on the last hit point of my last life on my last life on my last continue with Angry Mode off. I don't think I've ever been so stressed while playing a video game in my life
I'm going to start a backloggery next year. I must have completed over 100 different games this year but I don't think I'd be able to remember them to write out a list. I organize all the new games I get by "least want to play to most want to play". I try to either play through a game until I beat it or if I can't stomach it enough to finish it goes into the trade / sell pile.
Holy crap some of you guys have been really busy! Some impressive lists in this thread. I doubt I will ever hit the 100 mark but my goal for 2018 would be to at least get 10 games completed.
