I really should look into that BotW gear for Skyrim. That game is insane. Just a long tiring day today so I wasn't in the mood so no games today, but I'll go back tomorrow.
Also maybe it's my style as I prefer to think it out a little and approach things better that way but Doom being all overly fast and in your face or die as it is is hard enough even on easy. I don't hate it, but it's nuts at times. Glory kill and chainsaw for ammo or you're screwed plain and simple.
I played Doom on PS4 on the standard setting, which is 2nd easiest I think? And it was pretty fuckin tough. Some of the big fights are a few minutes of non stop action. It's great, but holy shit is it intense. One of the few games where you almost start to sweat and need a break between fights.
I don't believe they dumbed it down. I have the PC release and ran it about a month before just a few areas into it and it felt the same on both. I did find it easier to kill things a little using the game pad instead of a mouse and keyboard though. The game just by design feels like it was more intended for console play than computer as it's let jerky/sensitive.
This is on my list of games to get, but I'm a bit bummed that the physical edition only includes Revelations 1 with a download code for 2. At this rate it won't be long before I have to invest in a bigger SD card.

I noticed this with LA Noire as well. Ended up buying it from Game Stop. The other one I have noticed is Resident Evil Revelations. It's listed on Amazon but has shown as Out Of Stock since it went up with no option to pre-order. No idea why this is the case as both titles are available on Amazon.ca.

Got mine in today from Gamestop, in which they done shit packing too and my box was smashed a bit but the contents were undamaged. Still its a sweet set to have.

Yeah the chainsaw isn't that good, I almost feel like it could have been utilized better in the game.
