I live in the wrong area of the country for cheeses (Memphis,TN) but what I do like is meunster, jarlsberg, and the sharpest cheddar available. the brie you can find around is weak double creme stuff I want to find a nice fully ripened one to try but that style just doesn't seem to exist here.
I do like bleu, blue stilton, whatever... that's the strongest stuff I can find and while most people tone it down in something I can eat it on it's own.
Thought this was gonna be a thread about flatulence. Walked away sad.
That said, I am somewhat a cheese connoisseur. I don't have a favorite, but the stronger the flavor, the better. I'll even eat goat cheese straight out of the package...
We had a party last night. Here is the left over cheese. Second from the right is tomme. I like it a lot! Thanks Vectrex!
Also pictured: snofrisk norseland (also new to us-- could not turn down something with that name), sargori bellavitano with pepper, brie, blue, montenebro, manchego, cheddar, and brie with garlic. Yum yow!

Never at the end of the week sir, we get it fresh on monday.
I think it's a bit runnier than you'll like it, sir.
Normally sir, yes. Today, the van broke down.

It's not much of a cheese shop, is it?
