add meeeee!!! What game are you gonna attack first!
Lol well I got it from ebay, so it'll be next week before I have it. I plan to just play whatever digital exclusives there are for now. Leaving the physical releases for xmas presents.
Dunno if this counts as a BF deal: On Wednesday, I stopped at the Gamestop near my office after work to pick a small item up. I immediately noticed when I walked in a SNES Classic sitting on the shelf behind the counter. I did a double take and stared at it for about a minute; it was like I walked into a glade and spotted a unicorn. I asked the clerk about it and he said he had just put it out for sale, the store had received 2 units for BF weekend (lol). Of course, I snagged it immediately.
Me in my car being very pleased with my luck:
In my prior post, I grabbed an XB1S from Target.com Thanksgiving morning. I stopped at the same Gamestop tonight after work to see if I could grab some cheap XB1 games to accompany it. The store still had a few new copies of Wolfenstein 2-pack and New Colossus left for sale. I couldn't find much pre-owned beyond Rare Replay I wanted to make the B2G1 free deal seem worthwhile. I brought with me coups and gift cards and walked out with all three games for $38 and some-odd change:
Welcome to the club. I bought one a few weeks back as a Christmas gift for the kids (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)...and it's currently sitting in the closet. All lonely in there. I bet it wishes I was playing it right now...

I bought a bunch of baby food and a baby gate at Target (totalling over $50) and got a coupon for 20% off of my next purchase, excluding a buttload of exceptions. Yay?
No crowds to deal with though. Hit up my local target (1/4 mile away) at like 4PM. Feels good. This is the first time in at least 3 years that i didn't brave the crowds at stupid hours to get something under-priced. Fuck Black Friday.
Well you know, you should open it up and "test" it out. You wouldn't want to dissapoint your kids if the Switch was defective on Christmas Day or had hours of mandatory updates.
That thought has crossed my mind. You know, to get it all set up, download any firmware updates, pre-install a few games...make sure those games are working properly, etc.
Go back and take advantage of the 12 month playstation plus for 39.99
That's exactly what we are planning on using the $50 gift card for. Might also pick up a few used games with the B2G1 free deal going on. We ordered online as soon as the deal went live for the PS4, but GameStop's site was not ready for the traffic. I was on there for about 2 hours trying to add everything to the cart and pay. We didn't get the gift card confirmation until this morning.
Yeah, Sony is gonna continue to outpace the XB1 at this rate. The price was fantastic and there are a lot of folks (including myself) that need to add a PS4 to our collection.
While I agree they are selling slims like crazy, I question how well their Pro is doing - it's pretty rough if you compare it to the Xbox One X - literally loses in every category except having the same amount of 1TB storage.
Even the Xbox One S offers some level of 4K gameplay, and offers a 4K Blu-ray player all while being priced similar to the PS4 slim...nuts! Even the PS4 pro doesn't play 4K Blu-rays, how bananas is that? From a pure hardware perspective, Xbox is undoubtedly out in front - the X is one sick machine for 4K console gaming.
Playstation definitely has the larger fanbase though...I personally prefer Playstation but was shocked that their Pro model did not play 4K Blu-rays. This is where Xbox started winning me back over to the dark side...
EVE Valkyrie (now Warzone) for PS4 for $17, normally $34 at the store I bought it from
and 1 year of PS Plus for $39.99
Was looking for that PS4 deal as well. I looked everywhere. All my stores here were sold out. I wasn't expecting that!
Yep, I decided on Wednesday night I was going to buy one online because the deals were in-store and online, so I didn't even want to bother going out early this year. It was very easy and I avoided all lines.
This was my Friday's haul, 5 hours of drive, 314 miles...had to take storage, everything imaginable from 1980-1991 toy wise, 1984-1996 game wise. 1 year 4 months of negotiating, $3000 spent.

But how much for the ceiling fan? Looks fancy.
Anyone pickup anything good for Cyber Monday? I couldn't find a thing!
Same. Didn't really have time, but just 10 minutes was enough to find out that there really wasn't anything good gaming wise.

I finally pulled the trigger on Overwatch but that's about it.
