Bert you're better than the negativity addicts who usually speak up in this type of thread... we're all posting because we're all friends talking about this in the group chat. I can assure you no one defending Gex has any stake in the wheels, most of us have never even put in a dollar myself included. Sorry man but saying it's fishy is just a baseless accusation

Just thought it was funny everyone coming out of the wood work like that. Nothing more.

100%. I know Ryley personally but have never ever taken part in his or any other wheel. But if people do get involved with them, good for them.

I thought it was funny too. Especially people showing up just post spam, who I would’ve never thought would’ve done that

It's par for the course with these guys. Everytime someone tries to expose them for shadyness or if they are involved in any sort of scandal, they enlist in a bunch of their minions, or use fake accounts to chime in and try to shift the narrative or discount the issues.

Unfortunately, some of those “minions” are well known members, that I myself have done deals with personally.  So you can see why I would tend to believe them instead of someone who shows up and immediately starts accusing people.

Do we know that wheels are shady?

    yep.

Do we know that cook guy is shady?

    Yep

do I think these canadian guys are in on it? Nope.

Not sure about Gex, as he was pretty protective of these scam wheels in the past.  But around here they have done nothing wrong. My concern is only what people do around here not what they do elsewhere (although, sometimes  what people do elsewhere affects things around here and we adress those things then).

  • Where is ElectricAlex when we need him. He had a lot of posts on here... he could set the record straight! He came to one of our meetups. He was the minion wrangler, the muscle if you will.
  • I've never participated in a gaming raffle, but I do frequently participate in raffles in another hobby. We take safeguards to make sure no one is screwed over, using actual events to determine winners. I.e. an item is worth $170ish, the person would sell 17 spots for $10 each 1-17 and the winner would be determined via the next Florida Lucky Money drawing. If a random number generator is used, it has to be done via Facebook Live. We've had no issues in the few groups I'm in for this hobby using these methods.

Funny because when he was here he sent me many PM's for some reason, he always mentioned how tight you guys were after the meetup lol I am sure he was obviously exaggerating and you probably were just being nice. But just funny you brought him up because whenever i see your name it makes me think of Alexelectric now.

Ron Geesin, who had already influenced and collaborated with Roger Waters, contributed to the title track and received a then-rare outside songwriting credit.

Also believed to be part of the hidden soundtrack for 2001: A Space Odyssey, I believe. Been a long time since I researched Pink and their movie album smash ups. Firm believer in Alice on The Wall and The Dark Side of Oz, though.

I agree. I have nothing against the members defending Gex, or even Gex himself. I just know gaming wheels and Richard Crook, and shady is the word for both. It just seems Gex always comes to defend him even though we KNOW Richard was being shady during the pheidian drama. Gex being cool with what he did makes me uneasy on his judgement, but i can't point fingers when i don't have all the facts.

I would love for Gex or someone else on the inside to give their side of the story, as all we have is the info and accusations from a random person. It could just be someone mad they lost, but I just have to be honest, i don't doubt Richard would do something like this. And you can't really complain about people accusing without facts, when he did the same thing and said NA mods were running game wheels with no proof to back it up.

To the people vouching for others, just remember, because someone is nice to you or has done nothing shady in front of you or to you, doesn't mean they haven't done anything shady to someone else or elsewhere. You never really know people these days, especially online. And i have seen people with years of positive experiences go south and do something awful and take me by surprise. This is not about Gex but just in general in vouching for people, like Richard.

This is true. I should say, of all those named in the post, Ryley would have the smallest role, if any. Richard is the top culprit here, and Adam would be second as he carried everything out. Ryley did run the wheel so would know if the wheel was rigged, which I can not say with any certaintly.

But what I can say with complete certainty is that Richard won his own collection, essentially stealing 60k from gamers.

That doesn't really make any kind of case for game wheels not being shady.

Anybody running a raffle on Facebook that isn't properly registered and adhering to the rules of all of the localities they are operating in, is engaging in a shady activity.

Well, you can probably say with some certainty that he ripped people off, but it isn't much of a stretch to think that some significant portion of that 60k wasn't real or was based on shill ticket purchases to begin with if they just wanted to flesh out their supposed ticket sales to make it look like there was buy-in from a lot of participants.

LOL Wow What a honor! I honestly talked to him in person for about 5 minutes. He came off like a nice guy, kinda shy but I didn’t have an issue with him at first. Things went downhill after that.

  • These game wheel topics are always hilarious.

I'm not too surprised, I mean I was the one that livestreamed the event; Alot of people in here know me outside the forums.

I guess i'm casual because like others, im laughing at all of this. Nothing serious is being said, OP (Nick) is just a fake bomber account. Once this thread is unactive/locked, guaranteed he'll cease posting.

Errr, as far super high lvl cliff notes there's not a ton ton to say.

In April ' ish we posted the largest gamewheel in history. $65,000 USD, $65USD X 1,000 slots

People can simply buy slots, or you can win slots from other gamewheels. It can be midly complicated, but that's the gist of it. There were 100 prizes to be given away.

If you placed from the #100 - 26 spot, you got $65. So everyone who had one spot had a 10% chance of winning. If you placed from the #26 - 2 spot, you got decending pick out of a variety of different prizes. Samson CIB, Myriad 6 in 1, Flintstones 2 CIB, Cheetahman 2 ect.. If you placed #1 you won a complete loose NES set with a bunch of other stuff along with a $2,000 travel credit.

Steve won a gamewheel which awarded him 100 spots ($6,500 value), plus he had other spots. So it's not too surprising he placed #1, following a couple other spots rewarding him with other prizes.

The only person that made a sly remark about this after the wheel ran was Nick Tamburri ( which i discussed above^ ).
  • This thread makes me feel as if someone uncovered a rare secret underground collective group of people illegally pitting pigeons to fight each other. lol
  • So wait, this thread was started by Nick Tamburri, who has inspired his own threads about scamming others?

    Brilliant!

He's literally the only person who was butt hurt over the whole raffle, and yes. I can't prove OP is him, but Nick Tamburri is a confirmed scammer

Still find it hilarious that you think I am someone named Nick, which again proves you guys have a list of people who clearly dont like you or the things you guys do. This is an anonymous account I am using. I've been on NA for about 6 years. Registered and active. I chose to remain anonymous as last time your friends were outed and banned from here for being sketchy, they ACTUALLY made a spreadsheet of all the people that called them out, with everyone's name and FB profiles, made obcene photoshopped images of them, and had their friends harass them online. So ya, trying to protect myself from the innevitability of that.

And nope. I have it on very good authority that others were blocked and comments deleted the night of the draw. Not just this guy.

  • Well you just admitted to having two NA accounts... not the best idea. Both might now be banned...

You aren't supposed to have multiple accounts on the forums, so you're probably on the verge of stomping through some deep shit and getting banned.

If so, so be it. Just hope that this thread brings to light the horrible things these people do, and can protect others from throwing away their money by the thousands.
